Concert Review & Photos

March 4, 2017 – BB King’s, NY

2017March4

….‘I Think I Love You’ had the audience up on their feet singing along to one of the biggest selling singles of the 1970s. Perhaps David’s feelings about his career and fans can be summed up by his favourite verse of the song “I don’t know what I’m up against, I don’t know what it’s all about, I got so much to think about, I think I love you…”

Through the ups and downs over the last 40+ years David has persevered mainly due to his immense talent and the love for and from his fans. As he told us a couple of times during the concert, his career started in New York and the tours should end a few steps from his first acting gig near Times Square. BB King’s on West 42nd Street was therefore the correct location for this performance.

  7. Hi David, I went back to yesteryear and watched your 1985 concert at the Royal Albert Hall, what can I say, wonderful, talented, and singing live, not many performers do that now, you did this without the technology, that today,s performers have you did it with your talent and professionalism all by yourself, the love and appreciation you showed to your fans is outstanding that’s why we love you so much, hope you are having a great day lots of love and hugs take care Yvonne from Scotland x.

    • Hi David, saw the video of you singing THE LAST KISS on your Facebook, this is me and my Daughter,s song as I said before was pregnant , with her when this was released, WHAT A SONG AND YOUR , VOCAL RANGE OUTSTANDING, in my opinion this should be re-released and would still be a hit today, hope this finds you in good health always thinking of you lots of love and hugs Yvonne from Scotland x.

  20. wouldn`t it be lovely to be able to carry on singing and touring for the next thirty years, from the age of 67,but as for all of us age takes over, and the body and mind does not cope as well as in our younger years, hope you are enjoying putting your feet up, probably won`t hear so much from you now, keep well and safe.

  21. Hi David, Easter almost here, this is a nice month for you. April great time of the year. Just want say I’m also glad for your website, it’s a breath of fresh air with wonderful people. So much care, David Cassidy fans are smiles that put cheer in your hearts. Hi Felicia, thank you for the card. Have a blessed Easter. Everyone have nice Easter. Till we all chat again. David hope you are feeling upbeat and great.

  22. Hi Barbara, I read your post,I like all your posts, I’m just so glad we are all here together, for are ages and we still have our David Cassidy, At our ages so much fun,to still share how we feel. Sometimes on this post I feel like I went back to the 1970s so cool to have this time with David Cassidy today. I think David will keep his word, and always stay with us. With the age we are and David included life has adjustments and life has to go slower. But when David feels like it, I hope we get back where he left off. He will come up with something. Talented man like him has more to go, on David’s terms, because he deserves the best. Good we all tell David we still want him in our lives. Happy Easter Barbara. Denice in Cle.

    • i completely agree with you, it is always nice to see david performing, but I suppose life slows down as we age, and sometimes the cost of touring out weighs the profits, as well as all the traveling becomes to much, I am sure david reads our posts, hope it keeps him happy and perked up, I wish you a very happy easter.
