David’s Christmas Message-December 2016

With all that is going on around the world, it seems appropriate to repost David’s Christmas message to fans from December 22, 2016.

To each and every person who has given me support I am incredibly grateful.  To so many of you who have taken the time and energy to care for me as an artist, and also to many of you who have cared for me personally. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

I wish each and every one of you my true hope that you and your families, and those closest to you in your lives, a great, safe, happy and loving Christmas and New Year. We need as much love and support for each other now more than ever.

Happy Trails.

David’s Christmas Message 2012

Reprinted here is David’s message to fans in December 2012.

Christmas Message:
I wish everyone peace love and happiness in their life. The holiday season is a time to be kind to one another in this increasingly violent world. I hope everyone makes a concerted effort to do a kindness and give back to your community and fellow man (or woman).

I love you all and I have never enjoyed my career more than I do now, celebrating over 40 years of touching people’s lives and having them touch mine.  I am very excited about the upcoming concerts “David Cassidy presents The World’s Greatest Teen Idols: Peter Noone, Mickey Dolenz.” Before I started making records and before I became a professional actor I can remember being a fan of the Monkees and Peter, driving around in my car with their music blasting. I know a number of their songs and I am honored to be going on the stage with the people I grew up with. Probably some of you grew up with them also. We will all perform together and individually. It is going to be really fun. I am genuinely excited about it. I hope you can join us. More dates will be added in the New Year.

As a small token of my thanks for your support I hope you enjoy the song “
I’ll Believe You Again.”  I’m told it isn’t widely known as it was released only in Germany in 1990. I’d forgotten about it until reminded recently.

God Bless,
David.

A message from the DC UK Legacy group

We had hoped it would not come to this, but,  knew all along that the likeliness was very real that we would have to cancel the London Bus Tour we had organised due to COVID .

Therefore, it is with heavy hearts that we must announce that the Bus Tour will not go ahead and monies paid will be Refunded. The refund will be processed back direct to the original bank account less £1 booking fee, this may take a little while to clear but should go through I suspect within 5 working days.

We had at the outset thought we had taken on something very adventurous, but, with a lot of hard work we realised the dream. However,  never in a million years anticipated a Pandemic! Health and Safety is Paramount. We look to the new normal,  but can’t see such a trip as this being part of that for a very long time yet!

But we will go on to honour, celebrate and remember David Cassidy in ways we find possible with a very special surprise Tribute coming in September commemorate  the 50 years Partridge Family Celebrations.

Glen Campbell

I am saddened by news of the death of an old friend, Glen Campbell. He will be missed.
Glen, in the past decade, has been suffering from the disease that killed my mother and my grandfather, Alzheimer’s/dementia.
Glen was a great musician, guitar player, singer and all-around great guy. May God rest his soul.
David.

Message from David – June 17, 2017

Last weekend, Craig and I recorded some tracks at my place. Craig brought a Neumann U67 mike from Chicago, the same type of mike that I sang through in my very first recordings in 1970.  I had my favorite mike and my favorite guitar, my Black Knife Strat with a graphite neck, as well as the songs my father taught me. How could I ask for more?

I’m going to fly to Craig’s studio in a few weeks to finish the recording.

Happy Trails,
