Hi All!

I got back home on Sunday form NC. I just now gettin' back to normal LOL... The good housekeeping fairies didn't clean my house while I was gone so I have alot to do!

Well, we like to not made it to NC. Everything that could go wrong did! We managed to leave at 11:00 am on Wed. We arrived at midnight that night. The next morning I called Kim (from my board), we met in the hotel lobby at 5:00pm that day. She is very sweet and her husband is a riot! It seemed like we have known each other forever! Anyway...we went on over to the casino and we were the first ones there. We ended up standing in line till they let us in the show room at 7:00. When we got in they sat us 4 rows back, and this was table seating so we were far away ;-( We decided to ask one of the "big guys" there if we could get closer, and we did, front row far right side.

David came out after the band did an opening tune. He looked really good and was full of energy despite the trouble they had getting there and only 2 hours of sleep! He announced at this show he has Cherokee blood in him. I think he said his great grandmother was Cherokee. That's something I did not know! He sang "Rock Me Baby", "I am A Clown", "C'mon Get Happy" (I loved how he did this), "Lyin' To Myself", "Echo Valley", "Summer Days" (this was to DIE for!), "I Think I Love You", "Cherish". He also did some Copa songs. I'm know I'm missing some. ,Kim... if you think of any more songs please add them. Candice did a solo and one song with him. She is beautiful and had a unique voice that complimented the show well. My husband enjoyed watching her. She was a good thing for the hubby's cause I think they felt left out till they seen her.

The show ended and the meet and greet people were lining up to go back stage. I was so disappointed I couldn't meet him. I had never met him before nor had I ever got an autograph. Kim and I decided to go out by the back door and see if we could get a glimpse of him as he was leaving. The band was out there and we spoke with one of the girls and one of the guys. They were really nice to us. If ya'll read this, THANKS SO MUCH! We waited for quite a while before he finally came out. He walked out and said " Well ...Hello There!" So we walked up to him, me with my CD and Kim with her book to get an autograph. He kindly obliged. I have to say THANK YOU for this David, had I been in your shoes I don't think I would have been so kind. You have to remember, he was going on 2 hours of sleep and he just meet all those people for the meet and greet. I got a couple of hugs a hand shake and I kissed him on his neck! Ummm.... he sure smelt GOOD! As we left he asked us if we would be back the next night and told us not to be so shy. We said goodbye and as we were walking away the band began to scream "Yah..!!!" and clap as to congratulate us. What a GREAT experience! I will always treasure the memory. Thanks Kim, I couldn't have done it without you! Best wishes David and thank you sooooo.... much!
