After a drive through a snow storm coming from Boston, we arrive in Connecticut, and drive straight up the Mohegan Sun Casino and oh what a view ... it's such a nice Hotel and Casino. Driving downhill, looking at all the lights and shapes makes it look like a crystal out of a Superman movie.

We arrive the day before the concert so we can relax a bit. We meet a lot of friends, friends we made over the years. What a good feeling, we all are here for the same reason. Seeing David. It's a bit exciting, we wonder if he's gonna sing some new songs. Lisa and the band arrive to do some sound checks . They do Spooky, Since I fell for you, and Breaking up is hard to do. There's a girl standing in for Candace on these concerts and they rehearse a few songs together.

These are David's first concerts this year. They are fabulous, He sings 2 songs of the new album, being Spooky and Breaking Up is Hard To Do. First night, a few hours before the concert there is a film crew filming the queue with us fans. We have to shout out "David Cassidy" a few times. We also get interviewed. We are asked a few questions each. It's for his Biography. The whole concert is taped that night.

David starts with : "I Can Feel Your Heartbeat." Then "Spooky" .... the words ?? well ... ok ... he sang some ... hahaha.. Don't think he practiced enough. But who cares ! As long as he sings. I love the way he plays that guitar, love to look at his hands. And being as close as I was, it was heaven!

Then it's time for "I'll Meet You Halfway" followed by "Albuquerque". The second night his guitar fails to work, so he jokes that he loves to play it, but ...ok next song: "How can I be Sure ?" ...we all sing along. Waving our hands. Still his guitar doesn't work properly ...so no blues he says ...but he just goes on with : "Sweet little Angel" followed by "Summer Days". We know the next songs ..."Breaking Up is Hard To Do". I melt. What is it about this song, every since the new version I'm lost for it. Just love it.

Ok, now the guitar works! He hopes, next song ..."Ain't no sunshine", "Rock Me Baby" yeaahhhh he's rocking us. We're all dancing ! "Cherish" , "I woke up in love this morning" then the introduction of the band, "C'mon on get Happy". Lon wasn't there the second night but is replaced by another girl. David jokes about it to the rest of the band. He says he loves that part of the stage better that evening. We all had time to shake hands with David and take some good pictures. There was that part where David was reaching out to a girl , got one foot on top of a monitor and flipped it. He had to hold on to another hand preventing him from falling off the stage, but he got right back, grabbed his mic and laughed ...it looked like he was going to stage dive. I would have loved that. Right into our arms. All too soon there was ITILY ...and we knew it was over. The encore was "Cry" .... XXX

We can only say thanks for the beautiful concerts David. It was great fun!
