Hello everyone... I just came back from London, tired but HAPPY
I'm not good in giving concert reviews, I'm sure the Brits will do a much better job than me. He was "just so fucking gorgeous" as our good friend Donna from Philly said exactly 5 years ago when we were standing at the stage together. He looked so super great, I love his new hair style, it makes him look so much younger - 37, yes David we know that it's hard to think of getting close to 40 soon (his own words btw)
I had a wonderful time in Brighton, where I actually was standing front row center, all I can say...WOW !!!!!!!!!!
Wembley was another highlight, got the chance to be in front again (some nice (!) Osmond fans let me and my friend Monika have their 2nd row places as long as David was on stage).
Hammersmith was definitely the icing on the cake. After the intermission he really performed some songs of the new CD, I only can think of Cherish right now, and ITILY and Halfway, I'm know he did more, but I'm still somewhere between cloud 9 and earth... There were some really touching moments too, at the end of the show he mentioned his dad and his mom.... the last song was "Cry".... oh my god
I have got the chance to meet some members of the DF group, some I already knew and some new ones too.... including Jane - yes I have met Jane (she was front row and I was row B) and I have to say she is a wonderful nice lady and I'm glad we got the chance to talk a bit later in the hotel.
Please bear with me because of this short mail, be patient for some more detailed reports from others - it might take a while, they won't be back before the weekend, lol.
I should finally say hi to my family now, unpack my suitcase, drool over (not on) my pictures and go to bed soon.
