Hi David
Just want to thank you for sharing your time with your fans on
the Isle Of Wight. I traveled from Canada just for this event.
When I first heard about it I wasn't sure if my husband would let
me spend the money to go. But I asked if he would mind if I went
to London for a few days and he knew how much you mean to me so
he said sure. I planned on going myself because he didn't have
the time off work to go, neither did I but I got a week off work
without pay to go. I always tease my husband, Chris that I'm going
to run away with you so when I said maybe I won't be coming back
he decided that he'd better come too. I went to the Isle of Wight
myself and he stayed in London, we met up the day after I was with
you. He was born in London and came to Canada as a young boy, he
never really had any feelings to go back to visit, he was glad
he came with me, he wants to thank you for giving him a reason
to return to London. (does that make sense?)
To be able to sit and chat for a minute with you was unbelievable to me.
I felt so bad for you that you had to spend the day talking to everyone, it
must have been a really long day for you, I was number 85 to talk to you. But
you were so nice to everyone, when you probably just wished it would end. I guess
after that you never want to hug another woman again.
If you have a chance can you please answer a question for me because it's driving me crazy, you said you were in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada before and that you had a friend here. It's killing me to know how you know someone from here. Sorry I don't mean to be nosey but Hamilton isn't that big. Hope you understand.
I can't wait for you to come to Brampton and Kitcheneer in February 2009, sorry but I just adore you so much. I'm hoping that I might be able to come and say hi to you again before the show, I'll have to beg to the people in charge of picking who gets to meet you, hopefully they'll let me.
Please, if you ever come back to Hamilton again, call me up and maybe we can share a pot of tea together and have more than a minute to talk. (or I could meet you in Toronto, you know now that I'd go any where to see you) (boy, do my friends ever tease me about you, (lol). They half expect you to show up at my work and whisk me away to your concerts. That's so funny because I work in a factory on a production line, I think they've got you confused with Richard Gere (thank goodness your not) but it is a funny thought.
Please take care of yourself and have a wonderful holiday
Love you David, forever and always
Beverly
