On July 12, 1993 David Cassidy performed a free noon concert in the middle of Times Square in New York City. This appearance was part of the promotional "Back on the Bus" tour sponsored by Nick at Nite, and featured David Cassidy, Danny Bonaduce, and the original Partridge Family tour bus.
David Cassidy treated the NYC crowd to classic hits including "C'mon Get Happy", "I Woke Up in Love This Morning", and "I Think I Love You".

The 1993 Nick at Nite "Get Back on the Bus" promotional tour was an 8-city promotional tour celebrating the addition of The Partridge Family rerun block to the network's lineup.
The tour stops included:
July 12 (Monday): New York City, NY — The official kickoff featuring a live noon concert directly in the middle of Times Square.
July 13 (Tuesday): Los Angeles, CA — Located at the Arsenio Hall Show studios, where David Cassidy, Shirley Jones, and Danny Bonaduce reunited as guests on the late-night program.
July 15 (Thursday): Washington, D.C. — A promotional city stop for fan greetings and media appearances with the bus.
July 16 (Friday): Philadelphia, PA — A midday metropolitan tour appearance.
July 19 (Monday): Atlanta, GA — A Southern transit stop aligned with the official weeknight premiere date of the show on Nick at Nite.
July 20 (Tuesday): Orlando, FL — The final leg of the East Coast run, which included a promotional showcase at Universal Studios Florida.
Following the initial July 8-city push, individual radio and network promotions extended into late summer across the Midwest:
Late August: Detroit, MI — A promotional stop where David Cassidy notably crossed paths, and was photographed by the bus, with Paul Stanley of KISS.
September 11: Royal Oak, MI — A busy public appearance block at the Metro Music Cafe featuring meet-and-greets and autograph signings.
