David Cassidy’s llama bite scare

SINGER David Cassidy almost “had his face bitten off ” by an irate llama at the BBC’s One Show studios, it has emerged.
The animals are known for their aggression and the Partridge Family star, 66, was puckering up to one when it snapped.
Reminiscing ahead of the show’s 10th anniversary, host Matt Baker, 38, said the near-miss was a few years ago. He said: “He was kissing the llama, saying, ‘Aren’t you lovely’. We looked on in horror saying, ‘No! Don’t do that!’. The llama lurched at his face.
“He got out of the way just in time. He almost had his face bitten off.”
He also revealed Sandi Toksvig had a close encounter with a vulture, adding: “That was pretty hairy. She jumped a mile.”
The One Show, also hosted by Alex Jones, 39, is 10 next Monday. Alex has been on the sofa since 2010 and Matt joined in 2011.
