Title: The Eleven-Year Itch

Synopsis:
Shirley is happy and excited to tell the family that her boyfriend Richard Lawrence is coming to town and will be bringing his 11-year-old daughter Julie to meet them all. Danny teases Keith that he will be harassed by yet another besotted young fan.

When Richard and Julie arrive for dinner at The Partridges house, Richard formally introduces Julie to the family and Keith is expecting Julie to be infatuated with him, but instead Julie only has eyes for Danny.

Julie keeps following Danny around, which annoys him. Shirley tells Richard that Julie is being too intense and that maybe Danny would like her better if she steps back a bit.

Richard, Julie and The Partridges go on a picnic. Julie and Danny apologise for the way they were acting towards each other and decide to be friends.

Danny ends up with a black eye. Shirley and Richard find out that Julie punched him, after he tried to kiss her. Danny says his feelings towards Julie have changed and he had a sudden urge to kiss her. He is confused because yesterday she liked him and the next day, she punches him in the eye.

Danny asks advice from Laurie and Keith on the different pick-up lines to get a girl to like you. Danny also asks for advice about the problem with Julie from Shirley and Richard, but then decides to talk to Julie about it himself. He meets up with Julie. Julie says she likes him, but she isn't ready for that kind of commitment. They both decide to take time to get to know each other and just be friends.

In the end when Richard and Julie leave, Julie and Danny are on good terms and promise to meet up at Spring Break.
