2006 Issue 95, July/August, has a brief interview with David, called "Five Questions with David Cassidy". One question was what three songs best illustrate the Partidge Family sound? He answered: "Point Me in the Direction of Albuquerque", "I'll Meet You Halfway", and of course "I Think I Love You". The cover story of this issue is about bands that were born on tv, and the article devotes part of the space to The Partidge Family. At the end of the portion about PF, it does mention that David is still touring and releasing "the occasional album". The article includes a few small pictures.
