Pygmalion: Shedding his adolescence and junior high school appeal is David Cassidy, now in the studio recording an album for RCA. More interesting, his producers are Bruce Johnston and Carl Wilson of the Beach Boys, neither of them musical lightweights. Members of the trio America are contributing songs or playing on several racks.
