WHAT:
Ever dream of performing on stage with your favorite music star? After a two-month nation-wide search, three finalists will vie for the opportunity to sing with David Cassidy at the Mall of America "Duet with David" contest finals event. With the screaming support of local Cassidy fans and mall visitors, finalists Mark Blackburn of Dallas, Ga.; Elizabeth Kite of Libertyville, Ill. and Carole Ullrich of Orlando, Fla., will perform their original lyrics - around the theme of eating fruit and cereal - to the tune of the 1970s David Cassidy hit, "I Think I Love You." The contest winner will also receive a new Chrysler Sebring convertible LX. Cassidy will provide a free mini-concert to mall visitors.

Three local talent judges: Star Tribune Columnist C.J.; Hey City Theater Artistic Director Sandy Hey and Flyte Tyme Productions Producer Alex Richbourg will determine the contest winner.

Mall visitors can enjoy samples of Berry Burst Cheerios and meet giant Cheerios "O" and Strawberry characters who recently were "hitched" at the Strawberry Festival in Florida.
