Chart star rolls back years

CHART-topping music icon David Cassidy will roll back the years to top a star-studded Once In A Lifetime show at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena on Friday, November 16, it was announced today.

Seventies superstars Leo Sayer, Hot Chocolate and Smokie will join him on a Tony Denton Promotions seven-date city tour.

Together they've notched up 55 top ten hits and over 200 million record sales.

Cassidy, now aged 62, was responsible for 35 million of those sales and 24 gold or platinum discs, adorned millions of bedroom walls and every teen magazine front page in the 1970s.

He became a global smash following his role in TV musical series The Partridge Family and will sing hits such as Daydreamer, How Can I Be Sure, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, Cherish and Could It Be Forever.
