Newport Sunset Music Series finalizes lineup

Summer is just about here and organizers for the Sunset Music Series in Newport, Rhode Island have finalized their summer concert lineup. Los Lobos, David Cassidy, Lyle Lovett and Cowboy Junkies have all been added to the 2012 lineup. Tickets for each of the shows, which take place at the Newport Yachting Club in downtown Newport, are now on sale through the venue's box office and website.
Los Lobos will bring their signature brand of Latin-fused rock to Newport on Friday, July 13. The veteran ban from California continues to promote their most recent release, 2010's Tin Can Trust. Tickets for the show are available for $24 and $44.
One of pop culture's most celebrated teen idols as member of the hit 1970's TV show The Partridge Family, David Cassidy will perform at the Newport Yachting Center on Saturday, July 21. His last offering of all new material came in 2003 with A Touch of Blue. Tickets for the show are available for $24 and $44.
