1998 EAT'M Conference, Silent Auction and David Cassidy Celebrity Golf Tournament.

Founded by David's wife Sue Shifrin-Cassidy and her partner Lisa Tenner. Emerging Artists & Talent in Music (EAT'M) helps out new performers find out how to make it in show business. Rock band, Kevin Bacon and the Bacon Brothers kicked things off the opening day by performing. David was a host. He also participated in the Celbrity Golf Tournament. The panel David was going to moderate - Artist Panel, was cancelled. Sue Shifrin-Cassidy served as Co-Director of the event and as moderator on panels for Songwriting - The Art, and Demo Critiquing. Famed record producer, Sir George Martin, best known for producing The Beatles recordings, was the Keynote Speaker.
On Friday, May 15th, 400 people attended the Keynote Lunch where David gave a speech abut his life and experience in the music business. He was going to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to singer Gladys Knight, however she was unable to attend. She did accept the award via telephone hookup.
Sue presented an award to Sir George Martin for his accomplishments. David sat next to him at the head table on-stage along with Sue, the Governor of Nevada and Lisa Tenner, the founder of EAT'M. David & Sue's son Beau, his Nanny, and Sue's father Aaron were seated at another table with friends. At the end of the luncheon, instead of syaing her thank you to those who supported ther 4 day conference, Sue sat at a piano to play and sing her gratitude to everyone with a song she wrote espcially for this occasion. When she was done, David went over to give her a hug and kiss.
