A Day at the Races with David Cassidy

"A Day At The Races" was held at the Saratoga Race Track in New York on August 12, 2000 to raise money for KidsCharities.org. This organization raises money for charities that help children worldwide. David's wife Sue Shifrin-Cassidy helped found this wonderful organization which as helped countless children.

KidsCharities.org is a non-profit organization.

There was a silent auction held and and one lucky bidder took home a package with tickets to see David's show in Las Vegas "At The Copa" and backstage passes to see David after the show. David also mingled with fans and there's a photo of one of them with David below.

There were only a limited number of tickets available for this event featuring entry to the Clubhouse, a sumptuous luncheon, entertainment and a silent auction.

Beneficiaries for the fundraiser included Belmont Child Care Assoc., the Northeast Parent and Child Society and the Catie Hoch Foundation for Neuroblastoma Research. Tickets were $150.
