Last week in West Orange, New Jersey, friends, family, and fans gathered at Colgate Field to honor David Cassidy. Beau and Katie Cassidy were there as a new historical marker was unveiled at the place where their father once played ball and found his sense of home.
Fantastic that David has been the historical marker and the street co-name too. Also so wonderful to see Beau and Katie there.
From alll the photos and videos that have been posted online it looked and felt it was all very emotional.
One of my favorite songs David sang that I thought mirrored his life was “Only a moment ago”. I think it applies to a lot of people at one time or another.
