  1. What a lovely idea! Great to see that so many tributes have been made over the last four years to honour David in recognition of his many talents.

  2. It was a huge challenge for David Cassidy because ‘Little Johnny Jones’ is a truly iconic American musical and everybody knew a film version with James Cagney called ‘Yankee Doodle Dandy’. David worked very hard with a choreographer, had tap lessons and sessions with a vocal coach. Before the premiere DC fractured his toe but was determined against doctor’s advice to perform. The premiere was on May1st 1981. David Cassidy spent 6 months on the road with ‘Little Johnny Jones from May to October, and Sam Hyman became his wardrobe assistant. DC performed 8 shows a week. What a great idea of a seat plaque in his memory.

  3. I made a little donation. Hope Mary gets all the money she needs. David deserves any tribute we can do to him 💝
