  1. I like the billboard, and yes all fans , and anyone who knew David, or by chance you got to see his acting, and if you love his voice, his kindness , his care for the world, on Nov. 21-2017, you had tears. I think the billboard, says alot, one glance, David Cassidy you are missed, and the world is always going to remember you, and David Cassidy legacy is here to stay.

  2. Saying goodbye to a man who brought happiness into my life as been extremely difficult,.his music always had a way of making me feel happy, and lifted me when I’ve been sad. David has made me also happy because he has found me new friends ,when perhaps I might have been lonely .as I have said before I enjoy playing guitar because of David .as he always said c’mon get happy and I thank him for doing just that rest in peace David xx

    • Agreed. So cool.
It is the the smaller tributes from all of us, the ladies and gents who bestow their time, love and money.
Blessings to the person who did this
as wells as those who did
      The memorial bench at Saratoga
The memorial theater plaque in London
& hopefully a Star on the Walk of Stars in Vegas

      • Cannot forget to thank the lady who had collected much of the
oeuvre of David Cassidy before it was assimilated into his official website. I find new hidden gems to ponder.

  3. This is beautiful and David so deserves to be loved and remembered. He certainly is by a lot of us fans and that will NEVER change. I still can’t process that he’s gone, it just won’t compute in my head. Love him until the day I die and then some.

  4. I often wonder if he really knew how much people cared about him and loved him. In life, he never received the recognition he deserved. The billboard says it all. Rest in peace, dear David. Your legacy will live on. Always loved, never forgotten.
    Debbie

  5. I would love to see one lighted up in Cleveland Ohio, And I want to see David Cassidy inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The voice, his love for music and he played the guitar, he wrote music, and David Cassidy was friend with John Lennon, he sold out stadiums, David Cassidy was a singer and we all loved his voice. The billboard was touching and what a time to honor David Cassidy. Been a year, always seem like yesterday, sometimes I wonder how I became a fan of David Cassidy and just loved him so much , now I know, millions of fans over the whole world loved him, I belong here and want a great legacy to follow for David Cassidy.

  6. I do not think David realised how much he was truly loved and respected. I miss him so very much and am sad at this time. I watched The Last Session last night and was in tears. He must have been in dreadful pain. May God bless him always. The world was a better place with David in it. Truly a beautiful person inside and out.

  7. The last session is being repeated tonight BBB C4 at1 11.30pm for anyone that missed it. I watched it last night and was in tears. It was heartbreaking to see David crying and in so much pain. His band were true friends and cared and looked after him. Thanks for that.David was amazing in concert but he paid the price for his early rise to fame. I understand now what he went through.Forever loved and missed.

  8. watched the last sessions, the band were very supportive, as david`s health was frail, a very nice documentary, recording his rise to stardom, david did many things in his life that made him happy, sad he felt lonely and unhappy at the end, thank you to david and everyone who gave me so much pleasure in entertaining me throughout the years and in david`s lifetime, a real trouper has gone, bless you david.

  9. I watched The Last Session with my daughter last night, she was very upset and l could hardly speak at the end.
To watch the demise of David who has been my ‘best friend’ for 47 years was hard, the only thing l could do was to toast him and play some gems, Cry, Since l fell for you, Fool in love,Breakin down again, etc. ending with a tear in my eye. David Cassidy has given me so much immeasurable pleasure for years, thank you David from the bottom of my heavy heart.

    • Life can be tough. David’s father’s influence plainly permeated his whole life. David must have endured an enormous amount of male envy and resentment. It is obvious he was a man who suffered and struggled (and worked punishingly hard with a very marked degree of perfectionism). If becoming aware of all of this dissolves even some of that male jealousy and resentment; it might open up the possibility of men – especially – appreciating David Cassidy’s phenomenal talent for
the very first time – ever.

  10. I can’t handle this loss, dear God.. David felt like a member of my family, perhaps even more, even though I’ve never met him, he was still a very important part of my life. My mentor, my hero, someone I truly loved and will forever. Yes, I’ cry. I’m crying now I miss him.

  11. I love that graphic of the mother partridge. Would make a great car sticker or keyring logo for DC fans. My family and old school friends watched LS too and were all very sad. Bless you David.

  12. The billboard is still very touching one year on. I still miss David every single day. At least I know he is at peace now and can never hurt again.
    Maggie

  13. I watched last session and was truly upset and shocked at how bad David had become. It was obvious that David had never go over the way his dad treated him as a child and as an adult. Jack I don’t think think ever go over the stardom his brilliant son had that he didn’t have. You were David and always will be in your fans hearts.

  14. I did not watch The Last Session – when DC was alive he had hopes the programme would be a 4hour long series, show-casing his life and work. The programme was reduced in the UK to 1hr. It appears it focused on David’s declining health, which wasn’t what David would ever have intended. Prior to the programme being aired in the US, many of DC’s friends tried hard to get the programme edited. They could’ve easily done this, had they wanted. Also, David hero worshipped his father, was similarly talented and the son most like his father.

  15. Sorry Claire,
You cannot comment on The Last Session as YOU have not seen it. I have and it is an excellant documentary that was an hour and a half in the UK and shown on a channel that dosen’t show commercials, so no editing, just no commercials. It was done with respect for David and dosenot focus on how ill he was, just there are bits in there when recording etc, but the main bulk of the documentary shows film and a recording of an interview in the 70’s. I myself would not think of commenting on a programme i haven’t even seen, but David was the one that want what was film shown and the reason that is most likely why no one could change it was that there may have been something in the contract that was between David and the TV company. I have seen on social media people who are not fans of David who have said what a good documentary, but heartbreaking. If this documentary was that bad you would not get comments like that.

  16. It was really nice to see so many positive comments, hopefully those non fans now go and listen to all of David’s music.
    Doreen

  17. I have seen the Last Session a couple of times now. It is a very well made documentary and sensitively done. It is not in any way sensational. The sadness comes purely from David and his final admission that he caused his own health issues. Of course he had demons. We all know this. What came over was how successful and talented he was. I now have a better understanding of David

  18. Hi Jane

I agree with your comments on The Last Session and i have recorded it so that i can see it again. I expect you love David more than you did before you watched The Last Session, if this is at all possible, I know I do.
    Doreen

  19. Hi Doreen, yes you are right. This documentary just makes you love him more and have a better understanding of what he had to deal with. My family watched it and although it saddened them they have begun to have some insight into just how big David was and how talented. Always good to spark interest in a new generation.

  20. Excellent article by Mark Wyckoff about how this billboard came to be. Randy Fung did a fantastic job with this graphic. How he chose the momma bird and tear drop was so touching. The way the whole billboard idea unfolded was very organic, in many ways similar to how David Cassidy’s early career on The Partridge Family happened. Talent and success came from within, happened quickly and lasted a long time. The billboard meant so much to so many people. Thank you for this touching memory.

  21. Hi Jane

Yes, lets hope it sparks an interest in David from people that are not fans that watch the documentary. As i have said in an earlier post I have seen alot of positive comments from people that watched that were not fans on social media, hopefully they will start to listen to David’s music and watch hi tv apperances, other than The Partridge Family and see the talent that David had.
    Doreen

  22. The one thing that came across very strongly was how much his band cared about David. They were there till the end for him which shows true friendship

  23. David Cassidy’s legacy will always live on. He left us so much to appreciate. Once in a lifetime you come across someone as talented as David. There will never be anyone who could match him. Thank you for posting this. God Bless David forever.

  24. No matter how often we say David has died it’s hard to actuslly believe it, but he will Never be gone. To us his Fans He Is Always going to be in our Hearts Forever.
I Have had David in My Heart since 1970 and it was there when he Passed and Will Remain There. The Billboard is a Perfect Description of what we felt when David passed Away and We Still Feel the Sadness and Emptiness Every Day. I Appreciate Davids Band for still caring about his Fans and to all the people who keep his Fansite going …. it keeps David’s Memory and the Love for him Alive David will Never be Forgotten.
You were a Talented Man and your Music and Legacy will Continue throughout Many Decades to Come.
My Heart has been Broken 💔
I Love and Miss you David
    Happy Heavenly Trails xxx

  25. These are going to be our second Christmas without you my sweetie. Blue Christmas indeed 🙁 I miss you so much, more than words can be said. And still love you and always will… Crying writting this… I would like to say to you so many things but you are not here to listening to them 🙁 🙁

  26. As Christmas approaches us we think of the ones we love ,and as always my thoughts are with David and his son Beau and daughter Katie and rest of the family .for it’s their 2nd Christmas without him .and for us fans too .but he lives on in his music ,and the love he has brought to so many people .David you are always in my heart ,so will never be completely gone .love always xx .

  27. I think David would like very much for you, his loyal and loving, devoted fans, to hear this song and take it to heart. You were there for him throughout his life and career. You remained steadfast and loyal, despite his personal and professional ups and downs, when many people in his life walked away or abandoned David.

When everything and everyone else was gone, you remained. I don’t claim any special connection to David, as I certainly never knew him or worked with him in life. I do believe, however, that each of you has your own unique ‘connection’ to him and he is very much aware of you, your love and your loyalty. We leave this plane or dimension, and we leave behind our physical bodies, but that does not mean that Spirit or Consciousness dies. I personally believe our souls or consciousness survives.

I wanted to make my own version of a video to go with this song, but I don’t have a CD of the album. Rather than wait until I have all the images I want and my own copy of the track, I think David would like you to hear the music and receive the message, without waiting for me to present my own version.

If he could speak to you right now, I truly think he would say, “As long as there’s you. . .”

I’m with you, David’s wonderful fans, in spirit and look forward to sending Jane more scans of vintage magazines as time and energy permits. Like so many of you, I had a very hard time on November 21st. I personally think David knows he’s loved and missed. Your thoughts and words here, on his website, are not in vain. Your ‘connection’ with him remains.

    Your friend,
    Carmen Lozano

  28. Thank you for your post carmen ,so good that all these posts keep coming .keeping this website alive. For David.xx

  29. Thank you Carmen for your post. It’s so true we all had our own connection with David and stayed loyal to him through it all and still do.

  30. What a fantastic post, Carmen!! Thank you remining us that David is, in someway or another”, still with any of us. And yes, you are right there, we all had our own connection with him and that´s really comforting.
Have a Happy Christmas Season ♥

  31. I would just like to wish Jane (webmaster) All of David’s fans on this website ,all round the world best wishes for Christmas and the new year 2019 .

  32. I was also listening to the Partridge Family Christmas
Card tonight too, great album. I agree with you Sian,
David sings “White Christmas” better than anyone else.

  33. I remember in interviews David often mentioned ‘My Christmas Card To You.’ I think it was written by Tony Romeo and David thought of it as being a classic Christmas song. But David could sing any Christmas song beautifully and it just depends of your personal favourite!

  34. Yes. David seems to embody the “Spirit of Christmas” on that Partridge Family album. It’s impossible for me to imagine someone singing any of those songs better than David. I’d go even further: When David exudes that benevolence it’s snow-meltingly beautiful… David Cassidy at Christmas time is as good as it gets. Sian x

  35. Love the post Araceli! You really have a talent for the videos you do of David. May you and hours have a blessed Christmas and New year!
    Debbie

  36. Congratulations to David’s daughter, Katie Cassidy, who got married to Matthew Rodgers over the weekend in Florida, wearing a spectacular wedding dress with ten foot train! She looks a little like David, shares his dimples, and speaks in his breathy voice. Wish they could have spent more time together when David was alive. I remember David said on Doc Phil he would love to have a relationship with her again and was proud of her, her talent and work ethic. Don’t know what went wrong and its none of my business, but I think she was lucky to have David for her father!

    • I read about this last night! Congratulations to Matthew and Katie. May the Lord bless you with a long and happy marriage. I’m so happy for the two of you!

  37. Bruce Cassidy lovers, yet another sad anniversary today, 12/12/2018. This date 42 years ago Jack lost his life, where has the time gone? Shirley & her boys must be having a pretty rough time of it, these past few weeks. Whatever one thinks of Jack, there will have been no DC without him. DC said his mum was devastated when Jack passed, Shirley separated from him twice, & went back to him before their divorce. Jack begged her to go back to him after the divorce, but she thought enough is enough, ’cause despite all that he had put her through, (in her own words), she still loved the guy!. He must have been very charming, two beautiful wives who he didn’t treat well.
It is heartbreaking when DC in the Elliot Mintz interview, says that he didn’t think he was a good son to his father. You are DC, you are. Do y’all remember that DC was so upset that he couldn’t even say anything at Jack’s funeral! It is beyond our understanding that a parent of DC would not be proud, happy, supportive of his lovely, talented son. Jack had the experience, wisdom to give DC advice on all aspects of show business, & to just be there for him in every way. He could have prevented him from being ripped off financially (DC should have been a billionaire, if he had been paid his correct dues for all the merchandise etc. back in the day). He could have told him to pace himself, (DC’s gruelling schedule caused him to have sleep problems for the rest of his life). Oh Jack, all DC wanted was your approval. DC never really could understand or get to grips with the love we all have for him. We left behind are all beside ourselves with grief & pain. He just wanted his daddy to love him. So sad. Rest in peace Jack, I believe that God has helped to settle all the differences you had with all your family members who have passed.
Kelly, & your mum especially, my sincerest sympathies. Hope you are doing alright.
Denice, how are you doing? Last year it was good to go to your sister’s, you would have been even more morose if you hadn’t. A change of scene, & seeing more faces (even though none of them were in love with DC), is what you needed. Where did you spend Thanksgiving this year? Will you be there for Xmas & New Year? This year DC’s passing for the rest of my household has gone out of the window. Last year it was all over the news etc., but unless you are fans like us, everybody else has forgotten all about it!November this year when I began to feel depressed about DC even more, I just kept silent, with him on my mind most of the time.
Felicia, of course we know who you are. This is the one & only official DC website, & we make an effort to read all the posts. Last year when DC passed I couldn’t listen to his music, watch his videos, interviews or even come to this site. Returned here just a few days before his birthday, & really cried, let it all out. During the spring even went back & started reading all the posts & links from November 2017 that I couldn’t read at the time. So glad that I did so many interesting things to read & view. That’s why I am not up to date in reading the posts. I am just at the point where you & Denice are telling us about your trip to Saratoga, & Weronika on her trip to Britain! Felicia, what part of the States do you live?
Our Claire in Hertfordshire, you are a very sensitive lady just like DC. You can’t bear to see someone you love in pain. I recorded the Live Sessions, but haven’t watched it yet! If John found it upsetting I don’t think I am brave enough to watch it yet. I will never delete it, but next year, the year after, who knows? I can’t remember if it was last year or the year before, but I watched DC’s interview with Piers Morgan in full. That was upsetting enough to see how DC’s health problems had aged him. But got to hand it to Piers, he was so sympathetic to DC, you could tell he was shocked also. Piers is known to be a hardcore, guns blazing journalist, but he was visibly moved & concerned for DC.
Claire, also read an earlier post where you mentioned you had written to the ” This Morning” programme to complain about their intrusive interview with DC. Thanks for that. I watched a little bit of it on YouTube, couldn’t watch a lot as Ruth & Eammon I felt were ridiculing him. Also, saw another clip on YouTube, where Ruth, Eammon & Graham Norton were all laughing at & taking the mickey out of DC, really bad taste.
As Jane said, “It is foremost thru his fans that DC’s legacy lives on”. You are all doing an excellent job, plus those going the extra mile to ensure that DC is respected while alive & since his passing.
Did sue really say that? Since DC’s passing I’ve seen a few negative comments & questions left on various other sites concerning her. She then deleted any comment she had made concerning DC. The other two ex wives have remained silent as far as I am aware!
Love to you David, as long as people talk about you here on earth, your legacy will live on. xxxxxxxx Adeola.

    • Great post, Adeola… Yes, I remember so vividly when Jack passed. It was my 17th birthday and was one of the saddest for me, all I could do was thinking of David and I just wanted to holding him tight and say to him that everything would go already.
My poor angel all he wanted was Jack approval but he never had good words for him. Hope they both are reunited now together with beautiful Evelyn and enjoying Heaven.. God bless ♥

  38. Hi Adeola !
I loved your post! That is the longest post I have
ever read on the D.C. website. You breathed some
new life into this website. I am so impressed you
know who I am. I have been posting on the D.C.
website for 2 years. I met Denice on this website
2 years ago this month. We have become very good
friends. Matter of fact life time friends.
I live in Westfield, Massachusetts. I live in
the south western part of the state. I am 100 miles
from Boston. I am a 2 hour drive to Saratoga
Springs, I am 106 miles from Saratoga.

  39. Hi Araceli, Belated Happy Birthday greetings for the 12th. Congratulations to Katie and Matthew on their wedding, wish David could have been there, I’m sure he would have been proud. We’re approaching our second Christmas without David, still unbelievable. I will be thinking of him with much love and fond memories on the day. I wish his family, friends, band members and all fans a very Happy Christmas.

    Sandra

  40. Second Christmas without David..Still hurts.
2018 was difficult ..but also amazing and emotional year for me. So many things have happened because of David Cassidy.. After more than 40 years I’ve met fellow fans, people who don’t ask those stupid questions “Who? David Cassidy? This former teen idol? Why?”
We have met twice in London, we talk and share our memories about David every day. A true friendship. I have written a David Cassidy’s biography , it has been a kind of therapy.and I’m so happy my friends like my book.., I’m going to the USA next year in April, for the first time in my life , also because of David Cassidy.
Sue Shifrin said that” we should move on”..I understand her, for her he was a husband, the father of her son, that’s another situation. I’m just an ordinary fan, I don’t want to forget, I hope he , his music would forever be in my life.
Thank you so much Jane for running this website. It’s an amazing place, a true David Cassidy legacy.
I wish you and all fans a very Happy Christmas.
    Weronika
    Warsaw, Poland.

    • That’s noble. Yes, once again it’s good to be reminded that this website is the best tribute of all. Things come alive here. Fans get to share thoughts they’ve had for years and years… David Cassidy had an extra “ingredient” or two; that’s for sure. Make that a thousand or a million… his loving fans. Let Katie and Beau know we are not going to forget David in a hurry. Sian x

    • Hi Weronika (and everyone else who visits here). I enjoy reading everyone’s posts but don’t want to list names in case I miss someone. It is so lovely to continue to hear people’s thoughts and feelings. Like many of you, David is still uppermost in my mind, though sometimes I’ve wondered if I need to “let him go” as Sue suggests. I understand what she means but I feel as though I need to work to honour David’s legacy, maybe because I missed much of what he accomplished, and only knew about this when it was too late. I really want him to be recognised for his contribution and his talent, and will continue to try to do this. So glad to see that friendships have begun due to this site – a great thanks again to Jane for all of her work.

  41. Hi Adeola, I read your post, I liked alot of topics, about David, you mentioned, I never thought I have a favorite star, the first time I heard his voice, I was hooked and started watching each episode of the partridge family, I never watched in 1970, or 71, for me I started in 1972, I wasn’t one to watch much t.v., and when my sister knew I had my only show watch, she tried to take over the t.v., that’s when I broke the t.v., the knob fell off,,and I never got to see or hear David sing, in that episode, and my dad had to figure it out how to fix the t.v. over us arguing, that’s when I said someday I’ll meet David Cassidy, I was in no hurry with my plan, and I met him in 1981, many times after that, and she even got to met him, and my brother, so David was pretty well known in my family, my mom would talk about Elvis, and the Elvis records in the house, now I had a star of my era, I think the record player automatically played, could it be forever. David Cassidy made a dream come, true for me, Kindness and Caring, and so considerate. Yet at the last concert in 2016, I took my sister, we had front row, David was right in front of us, my sister danced and had so much fun, I have pics to treasure with my sister and more great pics, of David, he sang and performed leaving us wanting more, and that was the last time I got see David, my sister is the one who delieverd me the news of David in the hospital, she had a care in her voice and called me the next day, telling me to hang on for hope. I don’t know what happened on thanksgiving, this year had a very nice thanksgiving with old friends, the Xmas holidays will be with family. So Adeola Merry Christmas to you, and I played the song , My Christmas Card To You, David Cassidy made that song, anothrer one of my favorites.

  42. Have other fans of other people moved on? Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rat Pack, Michael Jackson, and many others? Don’t think so.
David will always be The One and Only David Cassidy.
Let his star shine on! (Like all the others)
    Debbie

  43. Hi everyone, I am wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, I like everyone’s posts, Arcelia, hug to you for your birthday. Jane who makes this website than and now so special to a special star. David Cassidy is the one and only. He well deserves a beautiful lengthy legacy, my gosh he never stopped working, and his talent was a huge success. We loved David Cassidy, and we the fans will always miss him, and even if I never met him, I would feel sad, probably worse, he was a entertainer that made you laugh, and feel joy inside. To see his picture everywhere in the 1970s, his smile, like sun shining, and Danny Bonaduce, said he was the biggest star in the world, it’s true, and David still has his fans all over the world. I never thought I be posting with them. We share a special relationship, we all appreciated what David Cassidy did in his entertainment history. Now we go down memory lane. I picked up here and there what Sue said, I don’t really understand, I was happy for David when he married her. They had success together, Beau is amazing, life has up and downs, as we know what happened, David was looking and doing great, him and Sue had dressed to occasion. I enjoyed hearing about David during his married years, let’s give Sue credit to. Maybe , she just means we all have lives to live , could be hard to understand, why. David Cassidy did bring light in, and spread his love.

  44. So sad people make claims about what David would or wouldn’t want done to celebrate his life when he was alive. David isn’t here to voice his opinion. I don’t see anything at all wrong with a star in Las Vegas to celebrate David’s talent, he did carry off 2,000 shows when he was in residence there. David made a very impressive revival during his time in Las Vegas which anyone less talented wouldn’t have been able to pull off! Yes, of course David loved horses and the Thoroughbred Retirement Fund, but why wouldn’t he want a star in Las Vegas to celebrate his talents if it makes some of his fans happy and feel they are doing their bit to remember him in life. So controlling, it worries me.

  45. So Much Wasted Time – I have thought hard about what David meant – although hate that his last words were made public. I feel David was talking about Beau – that time had been wasted when he was kept apart from his son.

  46. Let’s remember and celebrate David. It was a wonderful time to be young and thinking “I’m in love”. God bless him and keep him always.
I wish you all God’s blessings this Christmas Season and a Happy and Healthy New Year!
    Love to all,
    Debbie

  47. Maybe David’s last words was for all the love ones there, his family loved him and he felt there love. Wished he done things differently.

    • I think David’s words were all for Beau at that moment in time – David always said Beau was the love of his life. However – thinking about the Vegas Star to honour David and looking back on what David said about Las Vegas on this site shortly before he died – Anita asked David – How long were you doing concerts in Las Vegas? David’s reply – The list of concerts and shows are on my website. I loved my time in Las Vegas. Hectic, creative and very rewarding. So – I feel David would be very happy some of his fans have chosen to remember him with a star. That is just my opinion, of course, judging by DC’s own words on the subject.

      • I think maybe this has less to do with the star, and more to do with the raising of money to reach the target to buy the star.

  48. I think David loved everyone there with him, of course he really loved Beau, there was his family during his critical time, he loved Katie, his step brothers, and Sue beening there, she kept us fans posted, that must of been hard for her, I never met Sue, I don’t know her, but she was a big part of David’s life and she did alot. In the end it was his family giving him a beautiful loving sending to heaven. I hope everything can work out for everyone in regards to David Cassidy legacy. Takes time especially because David was loved by millions.

  49. The Star to honour DC in Las Vegas – looking at the face book page about the star, I can now see where the problem lies – It looks as if a lot of merchandise has been produced, t-shirts etc, to sell until enough money has been raised to buy the star. This makes it seem very commercial. I thought the star was a lovely idea, but am not sure about the way the money is being raised. I think it would be better if fans could donate whatever sums they wanted or were able until enough money was made to buy the star. I can now see it is drifting from David’s real personality. He wouldn’t want his fans feeling obligated into buying stuff just to get him a star. And he would want money in his name to go to good causes like the care of retired race horses and help for those with dementia. So, it is a dilemma.

  50. Claire and Gail I liked your last posts, David would want money to go to charities, he really loved those race horses, and he did something great to help them, David always had a reason with a cause. Glad Claire in your last post, explained more what’s happening, now that changes things, what’s important here is us fans are part of David’s legacy, and David Cassidy legacy will remain high and us fans, remember David as a star in our hearts, nice we can all come together and cherish those memories, David gave us, David Cassidy is in the entertainment library somewhere, as time goes by, may not be here to see, but I think he is a star who will never be forgotten, and a very important person in the entertainment industry. And I think so much got accomplished to honor David since losing one of the most cherished and love stars of all time.

    • Denise – I wouldn’t want to change the way you think about things. David obviously loved all his wives very much because he married them! Being married to a very famous person would not be easy for anyone and the circumstances would be complicated. When David died he was with his family, and he made his peace with them all – that is the most important thing. Everything else is in the past and everyone makes mistakes in their life.

  51. Arcelia, many hugs across the ocean from me to you, I really, really, enjoyed watching. David’s voice is so clear, and his stage presentation is just so David, incredible, singer with the best voice I ever heard, and David was so, so, happy singing that song. What a lucky audience that got to see and hear David, sing My Christmas Card To You.

  52. Hi lovely Denice, glad you enjoyed my friend. He really got the Christmas spirit singing this song live. Hugs back at you ♥

And I agree Sian, he is still alive when we hear him singing or listening to his many interviews. Sometimes it´s like if nothing would have happened but saddely it´s true, he is not with us anymore but his spirit will live forever..

  53. Tony Prince on United Djs has just played David’s version of “Silent Night” from David Cassidy Christmas. Lovely Surprise this morning.

  54. Hi Araceli ,thankyou very much for the video of David singing my Christmas card to you ,I love the partdrige family Christmas CD, but I especially like that song .Have a lovely Christmas, big hugs xx

  55. Hi Araceli,
Thank you for posting the video of David singing “My Christmas Card to You”.
I hope you have a good Christmas.
    Doreen xx

  56. It is almost Christmas and 13 months since your passing, how I miss you dear David. Lovely photos of your concerts showing how fabulous you were and will never be forgotten. Wishing I could send you a Christmas greeting as in the past. Thinking of you and loving you always beautiful, beautiful man.

    Your devoted fan Sandra
    Sydney, Australia

  57. Let this be a loving reminder
    That someone is missing today,
Someone our hearts still hold on to,
As we travel along life’s way.
Someone who made life so special,
for all those who gather here,
    Someone who won’t be forgotten,
But cherished from year to year,
And now as we pause to remember,
    Let us all fondly recall,
How dearly each of us loved him,
And oh…how he loved us all!

Remembering you with love this Christmas precious one x

  68. I just listened to The Partridge Family’s versionof “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Their version is beautiful, and hearing it tonight brought back special memories. I hope everybody, including David’s family and friends have a Merry Christmas tomorrow. I love you all!

  69. Thank you Sian for your Christmas wishes, Merry Christmas to you and all DC fans/friends along with David’s family and band members. Merry Christmas and a big thank you to Jane for all your hard work and dedication to the website, really enjoyed watching tonight’s post of David (and Shirley) on the Frank Mills Christmas Special. I’ve been listening to the PF Christmas Card, and will be watching the Christmas episode on Antenna TV tomorrow. David, we miss you so much but take comfort knowing that you’re our guardian angel, watching over all of us, love to you always.

  70. Today is Christmas, I watched mass on t.v. last night from Rome, beautiful, I said a prayer for David and others who have passed before us. We must believe, David Cassidy fans have all showed one another on this website, how to be caring in this life. Everyone here, no matter what part of the world you live, we are all so lucky to have met here, And the world was blessed to have David Cassidy in our lives, he loved us fans, and even though we don’t see him, we know he is here with us. Everyone have a wonderful Christmas, and just take a moment to be thankful , for our blessings in life. Merry Christmas.

  71. I was thinking of David during this
Christmas season. I miss him so much. He
was just such a talented man and a blessing to
us all. I know we will all be together one day.
I wish the Cassidy family a blessed Christmas
and a blessed New Year. I know how hard
it is to have lost a loved one . My mom died
    this past March 2018 .
Love to all the Cassidy’s and his dear friends.

  72. Carmela, your post I agree with, very talented, that was David, A heartfelt prayer for you and your mom. May you be blessed with a Happy New Year.

    • I adored the comedy-drama “Men In Trees” supposedly set in Alaska… and yes – snowmen can definitely be sexy!!! Sian x

  73. Hi Denice!
I liked your post! I like what Lyn said in her
post about you. I agree with Lyn you do have
a gift for speaking from your heart. Over 2 years
ago when I started reading your post, I really
liked what I read. That’s what made me want to
be your friend because of your kindness. Now
2 years later we have been friends. We met in
person in Saratoga Springs last May, and our
friendship keeps getting better and better. So
see Denice the fans do respond to your texts.
I am so happy we are friends. I am looking
forward to meeting up again in Saratoga in
May of 2019. I want all the fans to know who
are reading this post that the Saratoga Springs
experience is awesome! I want to wish you Denice
a happy new year! I want to wish all the David
Cassidy fans a happy and healthy new year!

  74. Lyn, thank you, I’m glad you liked my posts, I met my friend Felicia, right here on David’s website, I use to read Felicia posts, and she had a interesting energy in her posts. And I think we were both thinking the same thought at the same time. And we are wonderful friends, and most important we are David Cassidy fans forever.

  75. At Christmas thinking of David’s record producer, band member and good friend, Craig Snider, and the thoughtful message he left when David died, written up previously on David’s site. And thinking of David’s other band members, Dave, Teri and Frank. Looking at the photo taken on David’s daughter, Katie’s, wedding, she looks very happy to be snapped with Beau. They both have inherited beautiful smiles, from their dad! And of course, their father’s talent. I hope that Beau has his wish, that his father would be proud of him. I know David thought Katie very beautiful and talented, and said on Doctor Phil, he would’ve loved to have had more of a relationship with her. I was reminded David also said on Doctor Phil he wanted to be remembered for shedding light into people’s lives. And I hope David got his wish, too, through all those who still appreciate his talent, sense of humour, and personality.

  76. Go ahead and cry, so true. Missing our beloved David so much. He truly was a genuine treasure to us all. Such a beautiful man with so much love. God bless him.
Thank you Jane for all your hard work over the years and I do hope you continue to carry on giving us pleasure.
Thank you also to all his fans who contribute to David’s website, it is all of you who keep his legacy alive and give us pleasure.
    Happy trails to all.
    Sheila x

  77. Sian, I hope you had a good Christmas. Thank you for your best wishes. Sorry, not been on the site for a little while so missed your post. Best wishes to everyone for a healthy and happy new year. Xxxx

  79. We’re sending a dove to Heaven
with a parcel on it’s wings
be careful when you open it
    it’s full of beautiful things

    Inside are a million kisses
wrapped up in a million hugs

    • That is such a beautiful poem Lynnette, thank you for sharing it with all of us, really sums up my feelings about David too. Happy New Year to you.

  80. Wishing a Happy New Year to everyone,
especially to Jane for her dedication to this website and keeping
    David’s legacy alive. Thank you.

  81. Hi all you Bruce Cassidy lovers all over the world! Special greetings & thanks to Jane our web queen, & the team. Thanks for your continuous hard work on this site, & for keeping it going. We all do appreciate you very much.
Hope everyone had a good xmas, & I wish you all a happy 2019. The list of regular posters is forever increasing, you all know who you are. Thanks to those who included me in their seasons greetings, messages greatly received.
The 2010’s have been rather unhappy for us, witnessing DC’s demise & passing. Plus a lot of us here have experienced personal loss as well. Here’s hoping that the coming years will be happier & healthier for all of us & our loved ones.
Araceli, belated birthday greetings for the 12th! So unfortunate that the unhappy event happened on your day. But at least I won’t forget your birthday now. Yes our David needed to be properly looked after by those close to him, but he wasn’t!
Felicia, ” I’m going back to Massachusetts, somethings telling me I must go home “. Ha, ha. Hope you are OK. How many hours away are you from Denice in Cleveland, Ohio? Glad you liked my last post, I could talk about DC for hours on end if given the chance. When I was in school didn’t concentrate as much on my studies, but anything concerning DC was another matter (ha, ha).
Hi Felicia, how are you? During the xmas period played a few favourite PF songs that I have discovered. As happily now I can get the spotify app on my sky tv, & can have it on loud to hear throughout the house. It’s nice, as also while a song is playing the picture of the album or single cover is on screen, get to see lovely images of DC while hearing his lovely voice. It’s ironic though that my fave PF songs seem to be the ones where DC is lamenting about a love he longs for, or a love that has left him! I wish he had been able to find that long lasting love that stayed with him throughout his adult life.
To all of you for tomorrow, & those of you in Australasia where it is already 2019. Best wishes to all for happier times to come.
To our angel David in heaven, every song is you, memories are flooding back of when you were here on earth in happier times.

Miss you & love you forever. xxxx Adeola.

  82. Sorry to hear that Jimmy Osmond was taken ill while performing in panto in the UK. He paid a wonderful tribute to David when he died, and sang ‘I Think I Love You’ at his concert in memory. David was very gracious about Donny Osmond and said he was extremely talented, although obviously they were very different characters.

  83. A happy and healthy new year to all Davids fans around the world.Thinking of Davids family and friends as we start another year without him.Miss you David forever in my heart.
    Isabel xxx

  84. Happy New Year
To, Beau. Katie, Shaun, Patrick, Ryan, Sue, Shirley and all of Cassidy family.
To, Jane, you do a wonderful job with the website.
To, Beverley, Claudette, Deb, Diane, Jane and Weronika, my friends whom i met through this site.
To all David’s fans around the world.
and to, David, miss you and you are forever in my heart.
    Doreen xxx

  85. Praying Jimmy will have a quick recovery. I thought it was so nice that he sang David’s song in his memory. I want to wish all of you a Happy and Healthy NewYear! Another year without David’s smile. Everyone spread the love in his memory.
    God bless,
    Debbie

  86. Happy New Year to all David’s fans and to his family, friends and to Jane who does a magnificent job running this website. Into our second year without David, I love and miss you David more than any words can say and will do forever.

    Sandra
    Sydney, Australia

      • So disrespectful Claire if you are referring to Jane. She does a great job and like many of us has other pressing demands on her time. If you disagree with something she writes then please do her the courtesy of contacting her directly. There is no need for public criticism. Unfortunately, far too many individuals use social media to criticise other people these days. It seems to be an epidemic.

    • David asked Jane to take over the running of his website. I am sure he would be proud of all she has done. She does a fantastic job.

  87. New Year´s wishes are lovingly sent… To heaven above to where you went… Wherever you are now David I hope you are having a beautiful first day of this new year here on Earth. I miss you so much my dear angel ♥

P.S.- Thanks Claudette, Sian and everyone on this website for the lovely comments. I wish you all have a paceful and healthy 2019

  88. Hi Adeola, good to hear from you ,I enjoyed reading your post hope all goes well with your move to massachusetts. Take care x

  89. 50 years ago to the day, on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre opened a new musical.
“The Fig Leaves Are Falling”. David Cassidy debut. It wasn’t a success, closed 2 days later after just 4 performances
    50 years ago..
    .

    • Just cannot believe it is 50 years since David’s debut in this. It would be fantastic if there was something done to celebrate this and his life and career

    • Thanks Weronika for the heads up.
Yes, I agree that all fans are here, on this site, to celebrate David Bruce Cassidy’s life acheivements – be they professional or personal.
He changed our lives for the better, and we are so grateful to have been living in some of the same decades he’s been blessing us with all aspects of his career. We will continue to do so, even though he is now in heaven.

We are also very grateful for friendships made on this site, due to David & Jane (Webmaster)’s dedication & hard work. Double blessings indeed..

      Wishing everyone a peaceful & healthy 2019.

  90. Hi Adeola!
I read your last post. It’s obvious you were
quoting a Bee Gee’s song , when you told me
you were moving back to Massachusetts. Ha! Ha!
You are from the U.K. , so I assume you were
expressing British humor. I am doing really well,
I am retired from the Veteran’s Administration.
I was in the U.S. Army as well. My military experience
were the best days of my life. I love New England.
I don’t know how far I am from Cleveland, Ohio.
Get yourself a map and figure it out. I just want to
say my friend Denice is a very special friend.
I can see you are a true David Cassidy fan. We
are all like one big happy family on this website.
Adeola you take care! God bless!

  91. Belated Happy New Year wishes to David’s family and friends, Jane (website) and all of David’s fans. Thank you Weronika for reminding us that 50 years have passed since David’s Broadway debut. A young man whose raw talent was obvious to some even then. Let us continue to celebrate David’s life and work in 2019.

  92. Yes,thankyou weronika for reminding us it is 50 years since David’s debut in ”fig leaves are falling “.the years have flown by .so good to have this website, where we fans can remember all of David’s work ,talents and achievements. his theatre performances, acting, singing. we must continue to celebrate his life in 2019 ,and beyond .

  93. Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of David’s wonderful fans – and a particular “Thank you!” to Jane for all that she has done and continues to do in loving memory of David and in support of his artistic and humanitarian legacies. I don’t post often but I do read and try to keep up with all of you! 🙂

I’ve spent quite a bit of time ‘going back in time’ reading all of David’s past messages to you, as posted on this, his OFFICIAL website. I think David would be comfortable with me quoting him, reminding his many loving, devoted and loyal fans of his thoughts, feelings and wishes over the years. I hope this is okay with you, Jane. These are David’s own words. I have noted the month, day and year so any of David’s fans can click on the month and year for themselves and revisit David’s presence themselves. Jane has kept an accurate time line for past, present and future DC fans to learn about him and get to know the person and the man he was just a little bit better. Thank you, Jane!

I wish each and every one of you my true hope that you and your families, and those closest to you in your lives, a great, safe, happy and loving Christmas and New Year. We need as much love and support for each other now more than ever.

“I’m one of the more fortunate human beings, let alone actors, songwriters, singers, musicians, producers, creators in that I’ve had a lifetime of living my dreams. Without you all I would have very little. I am now a very, very, very heart-full rich man. No longer rich or wealthy but rich in spirit and heart and mind and love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and from the top of my head to my toes IOU a very significant debt for my happiness. Happy trails. I promise I won’t disappear.
    I love you very much,
    DC Feb. 26, 2017

And last but NOT LEAST, David wrote in loving memory and honor of Silvia:
“I was very sad to hear of Silvia’s death. Silvia was a wonderful, loving and supportive person.
I was very touched by her creativity and kindness. I love the shirt that she made for me.
Sue, Beau and I send our heartfelt condolences to Silvia’s family and friends.
    David. Oct, 15, 2011

“You’re welcome Jane…I believe that WE (humans) have only each other on this earth. The concept that we take with us just ourselves and what experiences we have with others while on this earth, is what I believe. You can’t take “stuff” or money or things that some people place great value on, and view them as LIFE. We are what we make of our lives and what we do with that life. I choose to love and to try and make a very positive impact and or difference in touching other people’s life. I do so because I have a choice. We all do. Most of us are caught up in ourselves so much, we miss the opportunities to truly share our feelings, compassion, caring, or even just listening to another human’s voice. I heard your sadness and the loss in yours. I’ve gotten a lot more from reaching out and giving, than I ever would receiving. You and I and all of the people that Silvia touched herself…We are richer to have known her. Even I, so distant and so far away, feel a certain loss. It’s because Silvia herself reached out with LOVE to me. She evidently was that way to many others, based on what you’ve shared with me… God Bless her spirit and her friends like yourself Jane, and her family. Do you see how one person has the ability to make the choice to be a LOVING person????? We all do. And that’s what I choose to do with the time I’m here. Knowing now what I’ve learned about Silvia, you may share this letter with any of her friends through my website and post it if you’d like. I’m sure many got to know her as being my loving supportive fan as she was….God Bless and Happy Trails…David Oct. 25, 2011

Jane, you obviously had a very special connection to David Cassidy, and I personally think he would be extremely pleased, humbled and most grateful for all your sincere and dedicated efforts to maintain what was started by other fans long ago. This website is truly a special place for David’s fans to gather and ‘connect’ with David as well as each other. Thank you, Jane, for doing so much for David and his fans, and for all those who love him.

In my opinion, David Cassidy is VERY AWARE of his many fans and their thoughts and feelings. Rather than make statements on his behalf, which I would not feel comfortable doing, I think it best to let David ‘speak’ for himself. And I think he has. 🙂

Your friend (with many more magazines to come),

    Carmen

    • Hi Carmen, Thanks so much for what you’ve said here and gathering David’s words into a wonderfully inspiring and positive post. A joy to read.

    • Dear Carmen,
Thank you for reminding us all of David’s messages in your beautiful post. Your post highlighted David’s caring nature.
I had a very special connection to both Silvia and David. I miss them both, very much.
I appreciate your kind words and I look forward to working with you this year to continue to bring your wonderful magazines to the rest of David’s fans.
      Jane

    • What a great post, Carmen. Yes, our beautiful David was an angel on this Earth and that is why we are still and will be on this wonderful site.
Thank you Jane and everyone who find the time to enjoy David through you.
Hugs to you all from Spain ♥

  94. Carmen, thank you for reminding us how kind, caring and grateful David was to his family, friends, fans and Jane. It is always lovely to hear from you. Best wishes for 2019.

  96. Thank you Carmen, wonderful post and reminding us all of David’s kind and caring side, that always shone through.

Thank you again Jane for all your hard work on this wonderful official website. We are grateful and proud for all you do and that we can share our love and memories with other fans and make new friends.

  98. Jane we cannot thankyou enough for what you do .I enjoy the website ,where we can remember ,David. and make new friends.

  99. I’d like to add my thanks for the brilliant work that Jane does, not just in maintaining the website, but also in adding further contributions from fans around the world. She honours his memory with this work, and looks after a space where fans can continue to connect with each other. We are indeed fortunate.

    • Yes, and we feel this special bond with each other. When we met in person in London ,fans who met here on this site , it was like meeting loved missing sisters. How I longed to talk with a fellow fan..
Happy New Year Lyn, maybe also we will meet one day

  100. Thanks Weronika, and Happy New Year to you too! 🙂 It was so wonderful that you could meet up with your friends in the UK. Even from far away, I was really happy for you all.

Actually my impossible dream would be for all of us involved in this website to be able to meet in person. What a party that would be!

And very easy to choose the music……………

    • Hi Lynn
Who knows what can happen in the future, maybe not everyone but hopefully more of us can meet up some day.
      Best wishes for 2019.
      Beverley
      X

    • That would be some party Lynn! Why not, one day? And perhaps Jane too. Would be lovely to buy her a drink to say ‘thank you’ for all she has done and does for us all in honouring David and each other. X

  101. I love this site. David would be so thankful to you, Jane (Webmaster). I think that’s a pretty good bet. Carmen has said it all, for us. We owe you, Jane. Sian x

  102. Oh Carmen, words can’t express what a lovely post. But DC’s Feb 2017 message where he said ” I promise I won’t disappear “! Absolutely heart wrenching!
Claudette & Felicia your replies made me laugh out loud, we all need a good laugh after the past couple of sad years we’ve had. All you lovely ladies know how to make a person feel better.
Lots of love to you all Adeola. xxx

  103. To Jane: the person in charge of this website.
I want to wish you a happy new year! Thank you
for keeping the website going! It keeps David’s
memory alive. You are so good to the fans!

  104. Carmen, thank you for your above beautiful post about David which really highlights the loving, kind man that he was and so appreciative of his fans and our webmaster Jane. Also thank you for your many articles that you post regularly to the website which are greatly appreciated. They bring back all the memories of David and underline what a great loss he is to all of us. Thank you Jane for this website which gives some comfort for David’s loss. This would be so much harder to bear without it.

  105. January 4th 1969 The end of “The Fig Leaves Are Falling” I read that at the last performance there were more people on stage than in the audience..David left for LA , tried but didn’t get part in a film..

I know you know all those facts. But still it’s worth writing about his life all over again. When I tell no fans about David Cassidy they can’t believe how
versalite, multitalented and hard working he was.

      • Araceli..big hugs my friend..sometimes there is a pic ,
David’s pic which makes me so sad, I mean that he really has gone…maybe because we talk about David Cassidy everyday , listen to his music he seems so alive, still so part of our lives..but sometimes there is such a pic or a song, you know what I mean.. We fans should be together, always , for him and for us.❤❤
        Xxxx

  106. Does anyone know if it’s possible to buy a T shirt or car sticker or anything with the Billboard graphic on? I just love it as it says everything in a simple and poignant way.

  107. Yes, that would mean so much to us fans to have a T shirt with the billboard graphic I have a partdridge family T shirt ,but this would truly touch our hearts .I hope all fans will be able to get one .or anything with this graphic on. we all want to remember David .

    • Thank you, Araceli (and to Susan Graham)… No wonder so many men were resentful!!! Lovely video footage of a certain park! Sian x

  108. Hi Araceli, it was very thoughtful of you to think of us.we had a lovely, memorable day in syon park where we retraced David’s steps where Daydreamer was filmed .we have become very good friends we are more like sisters .we enjoy remembering David together, sharing our everyday lives and problems.we would love you to join us all next time we meet up ,you are more than welcome .love and hugs my friend xx❤

  109. Arcelia, you made another cherishable video, David Cassidy had the best smile I have ever seen. His singing and smile, what a package of talent, his life of ups and downs, his journey in life, which brought triumph s, joy, fun, and emotional sad times, really impacted us fans, once you were a David Cassidy fan, you celebrated David Cassidy through the years, and always put you in a happy place. David showed what kindness and caring meant, to us all, and he really did Care. Now us fans , are forever here, to remember that favorite star, David Cassidy all the yesterday’s, to today, is what forever is. The memories you gave us just keep, coming, back, cherished more today than yesterday. I am so happy for all you fans who met at Sion Park, Arcelia I hope you get to Sion park, you are a very special fan, you have been wonderful to all of David’s fans. And a Happy New Year to all the fans here, and to my dear friend Felicia, you are my extra special friend, I can’t imagine ,not beening friends, I am happy I got here to David’s website, you are very special people who love David Cassidy, and Jane the web master, our friend , thank you for all you have done, and continue to do.

  110. Hi Denice,
I like your post. Thank you for the compliment!
I want everybody on this website to know what
a special friend you are. Life has it’s ups and downs.
But you are such a good influence in my life. When
we talk on the phone it is so much fun. I so look
forward to meeting up in Saratoga Springs in May.
Can you imagine it is only 4 months away? We get
to revisit Saratoga Springs. It is a long cold winter.
Thinking about Spring helps me cope with winter.
So for all the other friendships that have been
formed on this website , happy new year to you!
2019 is going to be a special year!

  111. Felicia I like your post to,thank you, I just think, David brought people together, so, so, so many friendships happened, back in 1970s I never thought that one day, I would get to post with David’s fans in the UK, and all over the world. So important now for David’s fans to be friends, Felicia I can’t wait to see you in Saratoga Springs in May, and I hope to more of David’s fans, and say hello to the ones we met last year, this event is a celebration of David’s life.

  112. Merv G. Show , this interview and David singing …What a live performance! Difficult questions from his own father. I was listening with tears in my eyes.

  113. It was very moving to hear David being interviewed by Jack and his father telling him how he loved him .and how they sung so beautifully together. very hard not too get emotional.

  114. Yes, very moving. Beautiful singing. AndDavid so young, 21, and saying how much he idolised his father since a very young child. And how the divorce had hurt him. Jack said he loved him but I would have liked for him to have also said he was sorry for the hurt his son felt. Perhaps to have shown a little regret.

    • As far as I remember reading his father suffered bipolar disorder, so he obviously was unable to realize how destructive his behaviour was.

  115. Just not to forget..January 1970 David Cassidy’s memorable TV appearances- The FBI (4th) , Marcus Welby (13th) both on ABC. And many people noticed his acting skills, he was very good especially as diabetes sick boy..and he looked very young, vulnerable and…gorgeous.

  116. And….January22nd 1972, “It’s One of Those Nights”(Yes, Love) was number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 (only 20?!😁)

  117. I love David’s earlier work too ,his TV appearances really showed his true talent as a serious young actor . it seemed to come too him so naturally. so young ,so talented.

  118. Isabel and Araceli, thank you. I love Crazy Over you especially. Superb and so powerful. Yes Isabel I did know Jack was bipolar. I still find it hard to listen to. David could be just another celebrity he was interviewing. Makes it even sadder for me.

  119. For Isabel and Jane Weir – a patient who suffers from bipolar disorder is not automatically unkind, insensitive or otherwise destructive. I wouldn’t think that David’s hurt or sense that he was never good enough for his father, would have been caused by his father’s mental illness. The character and the symptoms of bipolar are not exactly one and the same thing.

  120. Really enjoyed the above videos of David, he was so natural ,beautiful and genuine. There was never anyone who was so talented and deserving of industry recognition for it as David. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do, he participated in all genres, singing, stage shows, acting, theatre. He could sing anything and so beautifully. So sad for him that he never received this but we his fans always recognised this and will always love him not only for all his talents but also for the exceptional person that he was.

  121. Loved all the videos that have been posted above and totally agree with Sandra’s post, I could not have put it better myself.
    Doreen

  122. Arcelia,Isabel, and Gail, thanks for posting, David Cassidy the best, I liked watching all, he looked so happy on Ryan Seacrest, his smile and laugh, I wonder what ever happened to what David said on Ryan’s show, back on the bus him and Danny to get a new version of the partridge family, David said the new family won’t look like the original, it’s about making people happy, David had so many talented ideas, just to hear how he said that on Ryan’s show, you can really hear David’s talent as he speaks. Miss him so much. Will never forget all he gave.

  123. Amazing David Cassdy’s performance on The Thanksgiving Special. He looked just fantastic and what a voice. What a pity that his recordings from 78 weren’t released at the time.

    • I hope you and Denice are not too frozen, Felicia. Good luck with your foot etc. and hope all physio has been helpful. Sian xx

      • Hi Sian!
We are in a deep freeze here in New England.
I made a full recovery with my foot. I broke my
foot 6 months ago. I got finished with my physical
therapy one month ago. Life is good! Me and Denice
will meet up again in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. in
May. I am so excited! That was David’s favorite
place on earth. He has the best fans! I have 12
friends on Facebook that are all David Cassidy
fans. And have been fans for over 40 years. Most
of the fans I met in Saratoga and made friends
with them. David Cassidy fans are very special.
        Sian you take care!

        • Thanks, Felicia. So glad it’s healed successfully. I read that a woman froze to death; putting some food out for the birds! She got locked out. I did think about those of you in the USA and I worried. I’m really glad you’re OK. Sian x

  124. Hi Sian, we got cold weather today, only for two days, -4, next week going be high 40s, Sian what is your weather now? David did bring so much happiness, now all his fans are together. We have the happiness, to share and treasure our memories of David Cassidy. Jane has made this website, special and Cherished. Hi Felicia, stay warm looking forward to seeing you in Saratoga and the amazing Susan Cox, who worked so hard to bring the celebration of David’s life a true wonderful event, hope to see the special fans who attended last year, and many more this year.

    • There’s a light dusting of snow on the ground and deeper snow on the hills that I see out of my window. Quite cold but not catastrophic as in parts of USA! You keep warm. Hope Wilbur’s OK, too. Sian x

  125. Sian I’m trying to imagine what your city looks like, you are in the UK? You got winter to. Thanks for asking about Wilbur, I saw him this past Saturday, he has a thick fur coat of his own hair. He was playful with me and my friend Michael, and he got brushed and walked with us in the indoor arena, he likes to follow us, and he loves his stall, he can hang his head out, and he got carrots and apples, I think he likes the horse next to him. So thank you for asking, I’m not a super horsewoman, been a journey for over twenty five years, I think Wilbur and I weathered alot of storms. Now David Cassidy had a passion for race horses, I have yet handled one of them, but I love all horses, and I don’t know why there called livestock. They are smart, trainable, loveable, and do so many different tasks, for decades. I was reading some posting from David’s facebook page, I’m not on facebook, so much more I found I missed out on back during those days, David Cassidy was a wonderful part of our lives, and everyone here, to lasting friendships.

  126. Hi Denice!
I like your post! The cold weather is so bitter!
In a couple of days we will be getting warmer
weather. I too look forward to meeting up in
Saratoga Springs. I can’t wish away the winter.
It has giving me time to reflect upon my life. I am
so glad we became friends. Spring will be here in
6 weeks. Saratoga is 4 months away! I am so happy!
I want to encourage all the fans to try to make it
to Saratoga Springs this year for the celebration
of David Cassidy’s life . It is a 2 day event . May
    19th and May 20th.

  127. Hi Denice, Felicia and Sian, was reading about how cold it is in your parts of the world, here in Sydney it is the total opposite- at the moment it is a heatwave – 39 degrees Celsius. Would love to have some of your cold and no doubt you’d like some of the heat from here.

    Sandra
    Sydney, Australia

    • I’ve been musing on the Australia/USA contrast, temperature-wise. I can’t quite imagine either extreme. Keep cool, Sandra. Sian

  128. Does anybody here remember a cause that David participated in back in 1991, called “Voices That Care?” It was during Operation Desert Storm, and several celebrities from Hollywood, rock music, pop music, country music, and sports got together to record a special song for the troops and their families. The event was released on February 28, 1991. Here’s a little fun fact about this event. All the celebrities who participated in this got together on February 10, 1991. David and Sue’s son Beau had been born just two days before! When I first read about this, it was before I knew that David already had a daughter. I hadn’t heard of Katie Cassidy until the time The David Cassidy Story first aired in January of 2000. When I heard that Beau was born just two days before “Voices That Care” was recorded, I thought ” Oh my gosh! David was a brand new daddy when this event took place!” How sweet is that?

There are a couple of pictures of David with Mariel Hemingway, and one of him with Debbie Gibson, Whoopi Goldberg, and Nell Carter. Along with David, several iof my favorite country music artists like, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis, Kathy Mattea, and Garth Brooks were also there. And Mariel Hemingway is one of my favorite actresses. It was great seeing her in some of the photos with David. What a great time that must’ve been when all those celebrities got together to support the troops! This upcoming February 10 will be the 28th anniversary of the day these people got together to record the song, and this upcoming February 28 will be the 28th anniversary of it’s release. Just thought I’d share a special memory of a special celebrity event involving our beloved David Cassidy.

  129. Hi evetyone! Hope all is well.
Been watching “The Partridge Family”. Wish we could turn back time! It is so hard to believe David is gone. Your “first love” is never forgotten.
Listened to ” Crazy Over You”on You Tube. Loved it. Why they didn’t release it, I don’t know. It really showcased his “rock n roll ” abilities.
It really saddens me when I think how he was not given the accolades in life he should have been given.
Why we don’t give people recognition until they are gone, I will never understand. Never not let someone know how much you care about them.
Still missing him. He had it all.
    God bless you,dear David.
    Debbie

  130. Thank you Kelly for writing about “Voice..”
February is a special month . Feb 1972 David’s first solo album was released. I love every single song , true David Cassidy’s classics. “Cherish”, “I Am a Clown” “Being Together” “First Night..” “Could It Be Forever” and “Ricky’s Tune” written by him.
And in Feb 72 at the end of his holiday he was for the first time in London.
My friends laugh at me a little that I know those dates and facts.. .. 😁😁 but ..they are important.

  131. I forgot to mention that Beau Cassidy’s 28th birthday is coming up soon. Wow! Beau is a grown man! In a couple of years, he’ll be 30! Where does the time go? Happy upcoming 28th birthday Beau, in case I’m not online to wish you a happy birthday on February 8th.

    • I saw this when it first aired. It was on just days after seeing David in concert for the first time in Modesto, CA. That was a great time. Seeing David in concert for the very first time, getting a handhold from him while he sang “No Bridge I Wouldn’t Cross,” then seeing him on “The Hollywood Squares” just days later. Such a special time in my life! I’m so glad that this is on YouTube.

  132. You’ll always be our Valentine
    Though we are now apart
    Your memory lingers everywhere
    Especially in our hearts.

    It’s really hard; this missing…
    And we can only pray
That you are watching over us
And hear these words we say

The love you brought into our lives,
The way you showed you cared,
Are treasures we now value, like
    Each moment that was shared

    These are things that matter
    As we glance at yesterday
They’re all we have left of you
    Since you’ve gone away

We’re thankful for each little thing
    Before that last adieu
    Words can’t express our gratitude
For the years we had with you

    We miss you now unbearably
We miss the days gone past
If only we had known somehow
Your time would end so fast

We tell you all these things each day
    We think you know somehow
We think you can hear our hearts
    So listen closely now;

We’re sending you this ‘Heaven Mail’
    Straight up to Heaven’s doors;
    “On Valentine’s and everyday
    Our hearts are ALWAYS yours”.

Sending love on this Valentine’s Day precious one.x

  133. Lynnette, your poem for David was very beautiful and touching to the heart. Today is a day full of red hearts, and each fan here, knows the meaning of love. We will always LOVE David Cassidy.💖💖💖💖.

  134. Thank you Lynnette for your heartfelt poem about David. Thinking of David today, Valentine’s Day. You’ll always be my valentine, I love you David and I always will.

  135. Thank you for your lovely comments.
As a young man David made such an impact on his young fans lives when he appeared for
the first time. His music, acting and good looks at first drew us in. But over the years we
have grown with him and got a deeper understanding of the man. We learnt he had
struggles in is life, some he overcome but some so deep rooted, he found them hard to tackle,
yet on the surface he showed what a loving and caring person he was, that’s why
his fans are so loyal even now and the love between the two will always go on.

  136. Thankyou ,Araceli for sharing this video ,I had seen it .David was such a great performer ,his voice and the way he moved around the stage ,so full of energy. I saw him live at Wembley Empire pool in 1973.

  137. Hi Araceli, yes have seen this clip of David at his best, he was such a handsome and sensual performer. He put his heart and soul into every performance and he was so versatile, he had it all. He was unique with that beautiful voice and expression. There’ll never be another like him.

    Sandra
    Sydney, Australia

  138. Yes, I’ve seen it too, many times..Just amazing..David was the best. Never will be anyone like him.
    Weronika
    Warsaw, Poland.

    • More boyfriend than most of us could have dealt with!!! Too sexy; too handsome; and so good at singing those angels up there must be experiencing jealousy for the first time, ever!!! Thank you, Araceli. Sian x

  139. Araceli, after reading your above comments after watching David’s performance in the clip, it made me think of the song “What A Man” by Salt N Pepa. The main chorus goes “What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man” which certainly applied to David.

      • and me, i like to remember david in happier times such a great entertainer, even though its sad he is no longer with us, jamming up there in heaven with all the other musicians who have passed. thanks david for giving such pleasure.

  140. I started singing in the choir of my church. I made it for David as he was in one as a young boy. I am so happy, I will be singing tomorrow for the first time in a special mass. I know it was David the one who encouraged me doing this. Awwe, God bless him!!… I love you, my sweetie ♥

    • Congratulations, Araceli. I hope it is as magical as it sounds.

Have you seen the Partridge Requiem Logo message above? If you click on the right place you may receive permission from Sony to receive (by e-mail) a usable copy of the teardrop logo (for printing onto a t-shirt). Sian x

  141. I was under a historic hurricane in Puerto Rico, a category 5, then a 6 month power outage that left us all incommunicated with the world. All I thought about was how David was doing. It’s almost as if my heart was telling me that something was very wrong. When communication was more or less established, I was told about the sad news. I had just walked out of one nightmare and into another. NO, I have not taken this easy. HE deserved so much better. This was not how his life was supposed to be. Forever in my heart, this was ‘half way’ David, I’ll meet you someday in a much better place, where this is LOVE <3 I love you David, Melody <3

    • Hi Melissa, I agree he gave so much, he was so generous of spirit and did not deserve the way his life ended, he deserved so much more and to have been appreciated by the entertainment industry for how good he was, the best in my opinion. He was so wonderful. I also have taken his premature death very hard and still grieve for him, I don’t think I’ll ever get over it.

      Sandra

  142. Thank you for the logo. I filled out the form even though I get tears looking at it. It says everything we feel. He won’t be forgotten.
    Debbie

  143. Thankyou Lynnette for organising this .I have a partdridge family T shirt already ,but having the teardrop image is a way of remembering David .like all of us I used to watch the partridge family when I was about 12 years old .I have the DVD box set 96 episodes. I cannot believe he is no longer with us. I can remember when I heard he was admitted to hospital with organ failure ,I was in total shock .Everyday I kept checking to see how he was ,like all of us I was so worried about him ,and hoped somehow he would pull through David died on 21 November ,and when I woke up the very next morning 22nd ,I knew something didn’t feel right ,I checked my tablet and my worst fears had been confirmed David Cassidy dies at 67.I burst into tears ,could barely get my words out ,as I told my husband David Cassidy had died .It just seemed so final . But I know in my heart DAVID you are THE KING OF HEARTS love always xx❤

  144. Hey, this is nice for fans. I have requested the print and I bet it could be put on anything material like a tote bag, for example.

Thank you for sharing this simple, but powerful image.

  145. Thankyou for the email of the logo. It meant so much to me .A reminder of how much David is missed .David who brought us so much joy and love ❤❤.

  146. A small but very moving gesture that creates a bond for fans on this site (especially) and brings us closer together. No words. Deeply moving. Thank you to Lynnette, to Jane (Webmaster), to Randy and to Sony.

  147. Thank you for this image. Many treasured memories, much love and many tears. Blessings to you, David, for being you.
I tell my husband when we get to heaven, all the women that lived in the 70’s will be lined up to greet David.
    God bless,
    Debbie

  148. Hi Jane (Webmaster), a huge thank you, for your help with the distribution of the logo. I ‘m glad everyone is liking it. All the best.

  149. 17 March 1973 is 46 years ago today ,since I saw David in concert at the Empire pool ,at Wembley .I was so lucky to have been there .such a great performer ,he will always be remembered .❤

    • I lost my ticket years ago but you and I could have been at the same concert, Claudette! It was a very surreal experience. Like the dreamiest trance, ever… Sian x

  150. Happy St. Patricks Day to you all, hope everyone is having the luck of the Irish. David had Irish background, both his Dads side and mothers side.

  151. Today, 18th March, is the anniversary of when I saw David at Wembley 46 years’ ago, he was amazing! Such wonderful treasured memories.
    Who remembers the snarling alsations!!

  152. Your welcome Sian, I miss David so much, and everyone here on this website loves David Cassidy. Celebrating David and posting here has made all of David’s fans become closer and only a David Cassidy fan understands the meaning of truly what David was and his memory will live on. Sian I think spring is almost here, nice to hear from you.

  153. I miss looking forward to new music from David Cassidy so much. I keep hoping that he had some unreleased material tucked away somewhere that would be released in order to be transported back to the days when he was with us.
I need something to flush out my brain of this auto tuned, computer generated music that is forced upon me now. David was a talent that was very unappreciated in the music industry but I am so glad that I was able to enjoy him for as long as I did.

  154. Hi to all you David Cassidy fans. I just wanted to let you know The last session is being repeated on monday 25/3/19 at 00.30 -02.00 early morning on BBC 4 UK. I watched it last time and it upset so much but i wanted to see it. Still miss David so much.In a couple of weeks it would have been his 69th birtthday so sad.Love to all of you.
    From Isabel (Belfast).

    • Many may have thought that David Cassidy had it all; an unfair amount of everything. A & E saw deeply into David – whether by accident or design. The result is incredibly thought-provoking; utterly compelling; and intensely moving… The Tony-Romeo-penned song “Sing Me” springs to mind – sung by David, naturally.

  155. Yes, Tony Romeo, amazing man, it looks like he knew David Cassidy well. The best The Partridge Family’s songs : “It’s One Of Those Nights”, “You Don’t Have To Tell Me”, “Morning Rider On the Road”, “Point Me..” , “If You Ever Go” and David’s – “Being Together”. Maybe it’s stupid , ant it wasn’t meant that way , but for me this is a song about David and us , his fans. And “Summer Days”, love this one..and “I Am a Clown” and of course “Sing Me’..and , nearly forgotten “I Think I Love You”
Next Thursday Im going to the USA for the first time in my life. Im going because of David, I will be in LA, Las Vegas, other places and also I will spend one night at Harrah’s Hotel in Laughlin (just pure accident) David played there in 2001. Wish me luck.

  156. Weronica, wishing you a wonderful trip to the U.S., and have a great time, and just enjoy, you must be so excited, and I’m excited for you. You are a true fan of David, and I always like your posts, you have contributed so much to this website.

  157. Have a great time in America Weronika, if I were able to go there I’d love to visit David’s benches at Saratoga Springs. If I were going to London I’d visit the Phoenix Theatre to see his plaque there. Not able to see “The Last Session” here, wish I could.

    Sandra
    Sydney, Australia

  158. Thank you Denice and Sandra. Yes, Im exicted and I know it will be very emotional. I’d love to be in Saratoga Springs, David Cassidy’s fav place on Earth..Maybe next time. But he lived and worked in California, Nevada.. Just have read recently again his autobiography, there are many places I hope to see….
I will take my T-shirt with logo, thank you again Lynnette, I will be listening to his music on my way, I know, he will be with me….David brings love and light everyday,

  159. Hello fellow fans. Need advice. Has anyone tried to do something with the logo?

Had the idea to make a removable decal that goes on a wall, desk drawer, or elsewhere, but having trouble finding a way to get it to the company.

Image cannot be copied and pasted, obviously. Unsure if I should forward the e-mail because we’re not supposed to share it.

I’m clueless. Anyone done anything with this yet? Using computer to use the image, not a smart phone.

    Welcome any advice. Thanks.

    • Mary, I haven’t used mine yet, but you can buy t-shirt transfer paper to use with a laptop & printer, provided you keep the logo for you, only. Maybe other fans have got suggestions? Sian x

      • Hey Sian. Thanks for idea. Will investigate. The issue with the company that makes removable decals is they need it in a certain format. Unsure if the .bmp extension will work.

  160. Hi Mary, I didn´t use mine either. I have been busy lately with builders at home but I would like to do something with it. The problem is the one you posted here.

Have anyone other new idea? Jane (webmaster) can you help us?

    Thanks in advance.

Miss my David every day and wish he were still here 🙁

    • I could send it out as a .jpg file but this compresses the image. We sent it as a .bmp as it was a higher resolution image (a clearer image at a size large enough to print on a shirt).

  161. Hi everyone, sorry to put the dampners on things, but can fans please put the logo on only one t-shirt. Sony have only allowed for the logo to be used 500 times, that’s why the post at the top does say “a T shirt” .By only using it once it gives more fans a chance to use it. I know from Jane there has been quite a response. Thanking you for your help.

    • Lynnette: Thanks for answering. Still puzzled really. Had even sent the artist a note asking about how not to share the image if we want someone to do something ONLY for the single request. It looks like Sian had the answer — is the recommendation to buy t-shirt transfer paper? Would it work on a tote bag that could be found at a craft store?

Was hoping I could have a removable decal made, but guess that won’t work. I had warned the company they could only make it just for the person asking for it, but, again, the “rub” is that we have to do something with it ourselves.

      True? Please confirm.

      • Hi Mary, if you google “design own t-shirt”, there you will find companies that you can upload the design to and create your t shirt. I tried Vistaprint ( other companies available) and the design looks good when previewed. When Sony asked , I told them that’s how I would go about getting the logo on the t shirt. They seemed happy with that as they sent a signed confirmation letter saying they would allow it to be used 500 times. As the “Sony Pictures Television” copyright trademark has been attached to the logo, companies should not reproduce them. That was one of the conditions to have the copyright put on it,otherwise we wouldn’t of been able to have them. Hope this helps.

          • I can’t see a problem if you prefer a tote bag o a T shirt,it’s just a case of using the logo once. Download the image from the email to where you usually download your files to ,then it’s easy to upload to the site you wish to get your bag from.

  162. Hi Claudette, I didn’t want to upset you,I’m sorry if I did. I just needed to let fans know the situation with Sony. I’m glad you are pleased with your T shirt. I agree with you it is a nice memory to keep. x

    • Lynnette: Just sharing a progress report on my use of the logo for my one-time item. Finished an order for a custom removable decal (size 7 X 24 inches). Should be here next week. Will forward picture to Jane with details of the company and the cost. I have made sure the company knows, if any other fans, want to use their logo in this way that only one item per person can be produced. No multiple use of the graphic. Thanks also for the instructions on how to get the logo out of my e-mail so I could forward the image to the company. Thinking I’ll put it in the laundry area while doing housework or the little office space with home computer.

      • Mary, I’m glad you will receive your order soon. Many thanks for passing info on to the company you used.

  170. Just has returned from my US trip. 2 amazing weeks , beautiful nature, Yosemite, Red Rock Canyon, Grand Canyon, Bryce Point, Death Valley, Big Sur, Monterey Bay… . so many places connected with David, LA, Las Vegas, San Francisco… He has brought so much love , joy and friendship to my life. Was so proud to wear a tshirt with logo.
Happy birthday dear David, this is a sad day but I know you would want us to be happy.
My friends Claudette, Deb and Doreen will meet at the Phoenix Theatre today.
    Loving and missing you .

  171. Happy Birthday my beloved David. So sadly missed but will be remembered forever. Love to all his family and fans around the world on this memorable day. Will be having a David Cassidy song night tonight. He will be in my heart forever. God Bless you and happy trails.

  172. Happy Birthday darling David Hope you have a wonderful day in heaven. Missing you so much, will be listening to your music all day today. Thank you for all the many years of sharing your talent and love with all of us. Wish you were here, wish you were here, wish you were here…..

  173. Your birthday was my first thought this morning. I wish you were still here with us. I will always love and miss you. Happy trails in heaven….

  174. Let’s remember DC’s words at the end and not waste the day. Enjoy doing the little things, whatever they are – C’mon get happy! No matter what.

  175. April 12, has always been a special day on the calender, April 12, 1950, the world did not know a forever loveable star was born. Us fans have celebrated, David’s birthday through the years, and no matter what you had going in your own life and before social media, there was so many happy Birthday wishes for David Cassidy. Today I looked up to the sky, and wished David a Happy Birthday in heaven. Us on earth, keep April 12, a day to remember, and wonderful that this day is special, like David Cassidy was , to the celebration walk in NYC, somewhere David is looking down, walking with us. He loved his fans, to David’s family, thoughts of happy times, and to the sad times, David is in beautiful heavens, where happiness , peace, and loved ones, and all his animals, are together. I see your beautiful smile in the clouds.

  176. you have been gone,
    2 years today,
    when it only seems like
    yesterday.

    the joy you gave,
    to us all, when you
    entertained on stage.

    and now there is an,
    empty space,
    my love has never died,
    and for all eternity
    you will be with me.

    the pain has gone,
    your in god`s arms,

  177. On one of my stops this late morning, on April 12, after my post, I just acquired, a tie dye shirt, with a big red heart, and it says I love D C. I am in awe , surprised, and told the girls, nearby, of all days to come across a tee shirt like this. They remembered David Cassidy to. I got a gift today, I will keep, with my David Cassidy pictures.

  178. I’ve been playing his songs all day. Happiness mixed with tears. I can’t believe he’s gone.
    My heart is broken still.

  179. Happy 69th birthday to David Cassidy. It’s still so hard to believe that you’re no longer with us. You are loved and missed so very, very much. Happy trails in Heaven.

  180. Time is flying by. It really is true that we need to make the most of every moment… Love and good times to all of David’s loving fans, here, and to Jane (Webmaster) for her immense dedication, in running this site for David and for us all.

  181. This is too ironic. My removable decal which was made from the teardrop graphic came today on DC’s birthday. Looks really nice. Will send Jane a picture once I place it. Maybe she can share it for me either here or on Facebook. I deleted a seldom used Facebook page.

I think I’m going to put it in the kitchen as the first test place. I just had these 2 little cabinets removed from over the fridge (who could ever reach them!) and I have a spot that should work. A job for the hubby and a ladder. Also, have cut out some letters of removable decals (don’t remember where I got those) and spelled out “Don’t Waste Time” (a shortened version of DC’s so much wasted time comments). They should look nice over the teardrop rectangle.

Spend so much time in the kitchen, a good reminder every day, for sure.

If anyone else wants one I used Wall Monkeys and their email is cs@wallmonkeys.com. Reference instructions on Message #252 from Lynette to get the image out of e-mail message. Price depends on the size. I selected a small one about 7″ tall and 24″ long. More than plenty. Plus, you can move it around. As I said above, I made them aware we can only use the image once, in case any other fans want to have them make something.

  182. Dearest David Rock Star Cassidy,

If you were still here in your beautiful human form, I would wish you an oh so very Happy Birthday! I love you, I love you, always I will love you!

    Joanne – PA

I am so happy that there will be a Second Annual Celebration of David’s Life this May!

  183. On my last post, I talked about this tee shirt I acquired today on David’s birthday, I still can’t believe this when I look at it, this tie dyed shirt could represent anything, it was not made for David, but it’s unbelievable it comes into my hands, on his birthday , the tie dye, represents 70s, there’s big red heart, and says the words I Love D.C.. I hope the celebration walk, this evening in NYC, brings all the fans there together, and we must never stop celebrating David Cassidy, Artist of talent, entertainer of our lifetime, to you David Cassidy, a birthday wish you are at peace, and you have a new home in eternity that is surrounded in beauty and the angels are singing to you.

  184. Sounds like a great holiday Weronika, did anyone you met there comment on your t-shirt with David logo on it? I visited a few of the places you went to many years ago. Denice, what a coincidence that you found the “I Love D.C.” and heart shirt and on David’s birthday. Last year it was a coincidence that David’s last music “The Last Sessions” came out right at the time of my birthday. I thought of it as a special birthday gift from David. I hadn’t heard of the celebration walk in NYC. Would love to hear about that. How many are going to the Memorial Celebration over the weekend near New York in May? Are you going to that or to Saratoga Springs Denice? Thank you Jane, for continuing to manage David’s website. I think of David daily, and remember him especially on his birthday.

    • Yes, it was a great holiday , an unique time. No, anyone commented on my t-shirt , but many noticed, Im sure. I also made new DC fans among our group. Even we had a party last evening and only David’s music was played by the pool . It was in LA.
So emotional trip, so many places Ive read about connected with him. In Las Vegas I was outside MGM hotel and I think its great David Cassidy will have his star here. I love some EFX’s songs : “River In Time” , “Tonight” , “Let It Shine”..And I’m happy I have my small share in this star.
I dipped in the ocean and thought how young David hit the waves, in San Francisco how he was there with Kevin Hunter, saw Hendrix in the 60s..many such places. Like always , so much love and light because of him. I had a great time , met new friends , left my heart in Yosemite Park, Big Sur…Hope next time I will go to New York , maybe Saratoga.. Thank you David Cassidy. this trip “was all because of you..”

  185. Hi Sandra, I still can’t get over, this tee shirt my friend Michael was w me when I got it, told my friend Felicia, and sent her a pic yesterday, this year not in Saratoga Springs, two day event in Lake George, N.Y. which not to far from Saratoga, I’m looking forward to the celebration, in David’s honor, and seeing my dear friend Felicia, who I met here on this website, and be nice to see more of the fans, this year, may be bigger. Sandra , your so far away, yet we are close, David Cassidy brought fans together, that to me is another part of his legacy.

  186. Awwwe, Denice, that´s so great, so happy for you, my friend… You know? I was singing in the choir of my church yesterday and I offered the mass to David. I decided to enter the choir not so long, so I asked him to help me… I can´t explain it but in someway, he was there and singing with me or maybe through me. It was a so special and amazing feeling. Bless him ♥

  187. Arcelia, I’m so happy for you. That is beautiful you are singing. So nice you offered the mass to David, ya what happened to me yesterday was , something I don’t have answers for, I made my first post yesterday, and I was telling my friend Michael what I posted, and I teared up, than about half hour later I made a stop a got the tee shirt, and I don’t like tie dye stuff, what made me look at it, and than to read that, on David’s birthday.??? If was Just regular day, I would not put all that thought, I thought of you with the birds. We sure do miss David. We have stay strong and believe, and Arcelia was nice to hear back from you, you are a angel in so many ways, and if I read right you have been busy with your home. That’s great. Always wishing you the best.

  188. Have the removable decal of the teardrop image in place in the kitchen. Looks terrific. Words above with removable letters fit just right. Forwarding picture to Jane to hopefully share.

  189. Araceli, So glad you said a mass for David, God Bless him and you. What a beautiful thing to do. You are a beautiful person.

  190. Hi everyone, Sue Shifrin Cassidy had a birthday, I send regards, that she had a wonderful birthday, and I have said in the past, behind every good man is a good women. That women was you Sue, and may your birthday been enjoyable. Your strongness in life,is such a outreach to others, to make each day count.

  191. Gorgeous photos on the website of David and have enjoyed reading the stories. Thinking of him at Easter with much love.

  192. Great photos of those amazing concerts at Wembley Arena . Feel like it was just a moment ago..I have never been to David Cassidy’s concert. In 1973 was too young and lived in a communist country. When I became a fan, David already had finished his 74 world tour.. But I feel like I was there, my English friends saw him in the 70s , in Manchester, in London at Wembley , and in the 80s. and they told me everything, about this excitement, their feelings , how they managed to get to London , what they wore ,about being David Cassidy’s fan in the UK at the time. They still have all his albums, posters. I’ve got an original David’s poster for my birthday this year from Doreen and “The Official David Cassidy Magazine’s copies from Beverley… Amazing. Thank you my friends. And next Thursday I’m going to Liverpool to meet with two of them….
This website is so special , so important for us. Thank you Jane.

  193. so lovely looking through all the concerts, shows and programs, that david did throughout his life, seeing the picture of david in 1973, brings back such great memories, that feeling of excitement and anticipation , of seeing david on stage, screaming david`s name as i stood on the end of the isle where i sat next to my friend ann, had quite a good view, waving my arms in the air, i can just remember david on stage, a day i shall never forget, the day i fell in love with my idol, great memories of such a lovely talented performer, memories with me forever more.

  194. Thank you very much, Jane (Webmaster). I, too, was lucky enough to be at one of those Wembley Weekend concerts – but David was in black and silver (swoon). Sian

  195. Thankyou Jane for the photos from the 1973 concert ,I can remember being lucky enough to see David in concert, but wearing the black jumpsuit instead of the white one .brings back lovely ,great memories .

  196. I would just like to wish anyone attending the two day fundraising event and memorial for David Cassidy on the 19th & 20th may at King Neptunes Pub lake George NY a lovely memorable time .it is a nice way to remember David The proceeds will be donated to 4 charities. David would have been so deeply touched .

  197. Just listened to a beautiful song that David sung called I’ll Have To Go Away. Cried my heart out, such words. Miss him so very much. He was such a hugh part of my life, even though I had not met him I felt as if I knew him. He was a beautiful, kind, thoughtful and generous man with a big heart. Never will there be anyone who could come close.

Beautiful comments above by all his fans. He certainly had a special something to have made such an impression on us all.

Love to Jane and all his beloved fans.
    Happy trails. Sheila xx

    • David’s vocals are superb on this cover of the skylark song, he puts his heart and soul into it, as always. One of my favourites too Sheila.

  198. Driving home from Maidstone to Manchester this morning (15/6) in the early hours to beat the traffic, at approximately 2.30am listening to BBC radio 2 the programe the yacht rock hosted by Katie Puckric played David singing ‘Dirty Work’. Katie praised David at the intro big time. A bonus to hear a song that l’m sure hasn’t been played before on the radio.

  199. As days become sunny and warm I love to hear David sing about the soft memories of Summer Days. When I think of him I “remember perfectly”

  200. I cannot believe it’s going t be 2 years since David has gone to heaven. I cherish all the
love and times he shared with all of us. Concerts, broadway, tv and interviews.
There is not a day that goes by that I dot think of David.
I still watch the Partridge Family, listen to his music and David still touches my heart and
tears forms just wishing he was still here. I will always miss him.

  201. I am still cryning, I can’t seem to move forward. There is a youtube video to the song Damned If This Ain’t Love, it’s beautiful. Great videos of David laughing & smiling, He’s so handsome he makes my heart beat skip a beat or 2. I start off smiling but end up in tears because he’s gone. I feel like I lost the love of my life. I am really in love with him, i feel like i knew him. How is that possible? Probably because he was SO real, so genuine. I love you David, I LOVE you, 💙💚💙💚
