  1. Still heartbroken. Much thanks to the web team for keeping this site going. Sending love to all those who loved David and especially his family.

    • Hi. Soon it will be 3 years, I can’t seem to move on, I love David so much, I literally feel my heart breaking when I watch some of his videos. How can 1 man be so enchanting, mesmerizing, lovable and all the other wonderful things he IS not was, IS! I am really in love, I have NEVER felt like this with any other celebrity. I feel a special connection to David, how is that possible, he has no idea whobi am, but I swear I feel his presence these past 2 days, I swear he knows I love him. I can’t explain it any better than that. I know I sound like a lunatic, but I’m not, really, I’m not. David I LOVE you, I love you, i love you. 💚💙💚💙

  2. Lovely David – forever. Nobody sounds like you, nobody looks like you and nobody has this warm and tender beautiful soul. Listening to you every day til the day I will see you again. “I always hear your voice in the air, it’s with me now, you”re with me everywhere, so in love with you.” RiP

  3. I’m thinking of David especially today, also his family, friends and all fans. He was the most wonderful man in every way and so multi-talented and versatile. It’s hard to believe that it’s two years since he passed and I continue to miss him and grieve for him.

David you were unique and irreplaceable and are much missed. I hope that you’re now enjoying much peace, without concerns of any kind, which you deserved. You certainly left your mark on all of us here and will never be forgotten by those who love you.

I have loved and will continue to love you always.

  11. David, the last two years without you have been so hard, I miss you every day and will never stop loving you. My heart will always hold a special place for you.

The world doesn’t feel the same without you in it.

  12. I was listening to Rickys Tune when my Sister texted me and told me David had went to be with the Lord! After i read the text David started singing don’t cry I guess this is goodbye and it was like he was telling me goodbye in the song and comforting me! I will not ever forget it happening 2 years ago today! 😪 Rest In Peace Dear David you so deserve it for all of the happiness you gave us all these years! I miss you and your smile everyday!🙏❤😇

  13. Just a Poem that David’s Music inspire me to write; “I would walk in the rain just to ease your pain henceforth I would have everything to gain if you would just please, please, please call out my name” In Memory of David Bruce Cassidy.

  14. Grab a disk. Watch a favorite episode. Play a song. Post a comment. Say a prayer. Watch a tribute on you tube……

    Or, write a quick poem:

2 years out — We wanted more time.
    Wishing he avoided the “curse.”
The bad side of fame that he just didn’t get
Older and different just isn’t worse.

We all aged together, but he made us feel young
The time warp of Cassidy years.
That billboard with tear drop just says it all.
Forever, DC fans will hold memories dear.

  17. I hope everyone is doing well. I thought y’all might like to know the owners of David’s home in Florida are placing a plaque there in memory of him on November 21. Can’t believe 2 years since his passing. Always missed, always loved.
    God bless, Debbie

  18. So many happy memories of David’s concerts and so many wonderful songs to listen to forever.
Yes, he was definitely the man with the golden voice!

  19. We never thought that David’s life would end the way it did. So sad. If only our love for him could have pulled him through. So much wasted time……He’ll be in our hearts forever.

  20. Two years ago today, us the fans , David Cassidy family and friends lost a loved one. David Cassidy was called home, our Lord is with David, David Cassidy is resting in peace. David Cassidy worked so hard in his life, how did he do it all, us fans enjoyed all David did in his outstanding one man career. This website is very special. All us fans are here, together, we have laughed, cried tears of joy and sadness together. We have just started our work as fans, in making David Cassidy legacy, one to always remember. Every fan of David Cassidy is important. We all share a bond. Each post, has meaning and truth, and LOVE for David Cassidy. To David’s family, we the fans love you to.

  21. The last time I saw him perform was April 2016. I was in the third row, center. Best seats I ever had for one of his concerts. I was just as excited as I was when I first saw him in the 70’s.
Wonderful memories that I will cherish forever.

  22. Always loved, never forgotten. Your fans will ensure your legacy lives on. You gave us so much throughout your life and I hope you realise now that it was ‘David’ that we all loved and not just ‘Keith’. RIP David in the knowledge that you were, and still are truly loved.

  23. God’s love and peace to you , David. You will live in our hearts and memories always. Thank you for sharing your life with us. God bless your family. You continue to be a blessing.

  24. David Cassidy, you are truly loved by millions of us here on earth
Your parting from us so soon though, has made us really hurt
It’s now two years since that sad, sad day
And we continue to shed our tears
If we are all still here in twenty two years
Still, we will feel the same way
Could we all but turn back the clock
And help you through life’s journey
None of us would be sitting here so sad, so sore, so weary
As Joni Mitchell said in her song
You don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone.

Yesterday, was a day of deep thought & contemplation for all of us. Oh David we love you so much. Love to you always. Adeola & all your loving fans, family & bandmates.
    LOVE TO OUR ANGEL. XXXXXXX

  25. I will always love and celebrate David Cassidy. His music shaped my life, and his voice inspired me! Miss him more everyday.

  26. On the second anniversary of David’s passing, we celebrate the amazing life he lived and the legacy he left behind for all of us. The joy he brought into each of our lives decades ago will be with us for the rest of our lives. Those that did not grow up with him in the 70’s will never understand what an incredible time that was and how profoundly he impacted our lives. And then again in the 80’s, the 90’s and the 2000’s. From the small screen to the big screen, from the concert stage to the Broadway stage to the Las Vegas stage. An unbelievable talent and an even greater human being. I take comfort in knowing he is up in heaven watching over all of us, no longer in pain. And I thank God everyday that I was SO blessed to live in the same lifetime as David Cassidy.

  27. Hello to fellow David Cassidy fans and supporters. It’s been about a year since I last came here to post and read comments. I’ve been quite busy scanning vintage magazines for Jane to upload to the website and Facebook.

I just wanted to say “Hello” and to tell you all that I’m with you in spirit and also thinking of David. There isn’t anything more that I can say regarding his life, his talent, his personal struggles and his two years of not being ‘here’ that hasn’t already been said by so many of you here and on Facebook. I’m trying to create a special video in David’s honor to share with you, but in the mean time, please consider the following, regardless as to what you believe in terms of the afterlife, religion and spirituality: We each have thoughts and feelings; they are not confined to one time, one space, and one place. Your thoughts of David and your individual and collective love for him are all REAL ‘things,’ even if we cannot ‘see’ them or ‘touch’ them. As a Christian woman who has experienced the paranormal, I happen to firmly believe there is more to the world than what our five senses can perceive. You each have a sixth sense. . . a right brain or hemisphere that is creative and intuitive. You will ‘find’ David with your sixth sense and intuition. You will ‘find’ him in music (and not only his own songs but in other songs) while listening to radio stations and while streaming. You will ‘find’ him at equestrian centers, places and events involving horses. You will ‘find’ him at animal shelters. You will ‘find’ him at vintage record stores or places that sell vinyl records – ‘look’ for him in the John Lennon/ Beatles section. You will ‘find’ him while walking along the beach, early in the morning, late in the afternoon or at night. You will ‘find’ him in your dreams – literally. I said it with MJ’s fans and I’ll say it with DC’s fans: The ‘Connection’ you each have with David is REAL. It’s PERSONAL. It’s UNIQUE. It’s YOURS. Love him any way you want. Think of him any way you want. Adore him. Cherish him. You each have a bond with him. (Tell your husbands not to get jealous; it’s not the same kind of bond.) I think David would dedicate “In My Life” by the Beatles to YOU, his fans. You were always there for him. When so many other people in his life left, for whatever reason(s), from agents to managers to friends to girlfriends to ex-wives, you have remained steadfast and loyal.

In my personal and firm opinion, David would like you to have BOTH versions of the following song. It says so much about him and his love for you. First is the original by the Beatles. Second link is David singing to YOU. He gets emotional at the end. He really was singing from his heart and he meant it for his fans. I don’t think he ever really could have imagined how loyal you would remain over the years. Loyalty was worth far more to David than money ever was. He would say “Thank you. What you gave me made it all worth while.”

P.S. April 1972 is around the corner. Jane will be getting those very soon.

      • Hello Sian! Thank you for the Christmas wish. I wish you a lovely Christmas as well. We have Thanksgiving coming up this Thursday here in America, so that holiday comes first for us. Christmas is just around the corner. I’ll be listening to David’s Christmas music in my car and at home. “White Christmas” from A Partridge Family Christmas Card album is one of my favorite David Cassidy songs. I know he was under ENORMOUS pressure while making that album, but you would never know it. His voice is as smooth as honey and cinnamon on buttered toast. Or as smooth as silk satin, if one prefers a fabric analogy. As a motion picture industry costumer with a degree in Fashion Design, I relate strongly to fabrics. David would definitely be a highly sensuous fabric in a deep saturated color. He would be a very luxurious fabric. . . 😉

        Very Warmly,
        Carmen

P.S. He would also have a snuggly quality to him, I think. He would be part cotton flannel, too, or a soft chenille. I think his female fans around the world would agree (and some of his male fans, too!) that David was both sensuous and somehow snuggly or lovable. 🙂

        • Agreed! There’s a rich chocolate brown velvet quality but I’d also add a rainbow-like, ethereal, shimmering thing going on; such as you hear in “How Can I Be Sure?” Siân x

    • Thank you Carmen, a beautiful message, so well said, agreed, loyalty was
far more important to David than money ever was. And thank you David, what you gave to your fans made it so very worthwhile to all of us.

    • Hi Carmen,

I have only just read your post, and I loved it…goose bump inducing! Thank you! And thank you for all the work you’re doing scanning the magazines. The fact that you collected as you did, and are scanning them means that what would otherwise have been lost, has been preserved.

      Cheers, Lyn

  28. Sadly, my own David weekend has just finished with ‘ Love in Bloom’ Breaking down again” ‘A fool in love’ and ‘Since l fell for you ‘ pure class.

  29. Thank you from the USA for your wishes for Thanksgiving. Thankful for the wonderful David memories, too.
    God bless you all,
    Debbie

  30. Beautilly writen, Carmen. Thank you for taking the time and scan so many wonderful memories through your magazines.

Definetly, David is special. He has that kind of magic you could not even explain: “I love you in a place where there´s no space or time”. That´s the way I love David, I feel him so close to me. Thank you, my sweetie ♥

  31. Thank you Carmen for you lovely words and of course your wonderful magazines, I spend many an evening reading them. Thanks of course to Jane too.

RIP David, think about and listen to your music everyday.
    Maggie x

  32. Sian, Hi, I read your post over and over a few times, how beautifully worded with words that really described, I like the rainbow like, enjoyed reading thank you for your post. And a Hi to John, glad to read your post, your a cool fan. And everyone’s post, is love for David and we really miss him, I hope David Cassidy music will sing on to generations to come. David Cassidy is musical history to always be a part of the old world and the new to come. David Cassidy taught us so much and sang us songs, that you want to listen to over again.

  33. There are still great songs to be found . ” Mystical Lady ” written by David Cassidy a unreleased song ,recorded in 1971, it was originally slated for the partridge family, but was sadly rejected by Wes Farrell .I love this song ,and listen to it over and over again .David had so much talent .also another great song ” Sweetness “also written by David Cassidy recorded in 1972 , but rejected by Wes Farrell .David has left us great songs still to be discovered .

  34. ARACELI, David’s Spanish beauty. Wishing you a wonderful & fabulous, Happy Birthday for tomorrow. Aww sweetie, you don’t look a day older than 23. Thanks Araceli for the many DC videos that you have made, & the DC links that you have shared with us. A number of them have made me cry as they are so incredibly beautiful. I have been steadily trying to read all the posts left on here, since November 2017. If you can Bruce Cassidy lovers check out some of Araceli’s past DC videos. There is a particularly stunning one that she posted a few days after Xmas 2017.
Araceli, DC is incredibly proud of you, of all of us who have remained loyal to him through good times & bad. But we miss him so!
Araceli, you have a great day tomorrow. Of course we think of Jack, Evelyn & our darling. Love to you Araceli, Adeola. xxxxxxx

  37. ARACELI sweetie, hope you’re having a lovely day. You must have been a wonderful early Xmas present for your parents when you were born.
I’m in the middle of Xmas list making, checking things on line etc.
Glad to hear that you are alright Sandra, although the news about Australia is still not great, about the fires etc.. Also the news from New Zealand too. Seems like it’s one thing after the other happening around the world! But I think of all my international friends whenever something is happening in your regions. We have not been spared in the UK either, another terrorist attack in & around London Bridge! It’s a nightmare!
Take care everybody, will talk to you soon.
    Love Adeola. xxx

    • Hi Adeola, I hope things are going well for you and thank you for your concern about the fires here and Australians affected in the NZ volcano tragedy. We’re also in a prolonged drought and water restrictions have just been increased . I was sad to hear of the recent terror attack in London, so many awful things happening in the world. I wish you a Happy Christmas and love from Sandra in Sydney, Australia.

  38. In fact, my Birthday is tomorrow 13th but thank you so much to everyone, you are such lovely friends.

This night it will be 43 years that David´s Dad passed. I remember it like it was yesterday. Living in Spain, I learnt about his death tomorrow, my birthday day. It was one of the saddest one for me. All I wanted was to be closer to David and hug him so tight and tell him everything will go well for him.

I hope they are up there now enjoying Heaven together.

I miss you, my sweet David and love you so much ♥

  39. Happy Birthday, tomorrow, Araceli. I expect you are going to be singing in your church or cathedral, this Christmas. You would make one sensational Christmas angel! Siân x

  40. Arcelia, wishing you a Very Happy Birthday. You have touched so many hearts of all of us with all the special video s you have made of David Cassidy. David would appreciate how beautiful and perfected and the care you put into the video s in his honor. And I send you a thank you for caring about us fans and sharing more of David with us. Have a Happy Birthday.

  41. We have a new light rail line in Sydney which I travelled on yesterday. It goes right past the venue where I saw David 45 years ago – brought back so many memories.

Our third Christmas without David, I’ll be thinking of him and wish all his fans a very Happy Christmas.

  42. Ohhh, Sian… do you remember me talking about singing in my church? How sweet is this!! Yes, I am singing Christmas songs thereand thinking of David, of course. He is the reason I am a part of that choir as I wanted to honor him that way 🙂

And Denice, you have always been so nice to me too. And speaking about videos. I made this one for David last week. And yes, they were all made with so much love and from the heart.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmPGSDx4zfY

Merry Christmas everyone but it´s going to be hard another year again … 🙁

to dear David, you do such a wonderful job with your videos, thank you for sharing them with us. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family.

    • Araceli, your video is beautiful and moving. It’s a fantastic tribute to him… I do remember that your choral singing obviously meant a lot. I was in two choirs, as a young girl, and it meant a lot to me, so I really understand… I adore Christmas carols… Have a Happy/Sad Christmas: You will know what I mean. Siân x

  49. I hope all fans and you, Jane, had a good Christmas and i wish everyone a Happy New Year.

    Remembering and missing David always,
    Forever in my heart.

  50. JANE, & the rest of your team, I hope you all had a great Xmas. Wish you all too, a happy & prosperous new year. Of course, we can’t thank you enough for this site, not just to celebrate David, but also for the lovely friends we have made too.
Bruce Cassidy lovers worldwide, the same season sentiments to you all also. Please all say a prayer for all mankind, & for all those that are not having a happy holiday season. We.ve all seen the news, never ending tragedy & turmoil around the world!
SANDRA, we’ve been keeping track of what’s going on in Oz. A few days after reading your post about you travelling to Victoria & the variation of the weather, we heard the fires had started there also! Seen footage of Sydney covered in an orange/brownish awful smog. Surely you must wear a mask now to protect yourself? Enough said about your Prime Minister living it up in Hawaii while Australia burned! In contrast with New Zealand’s leader who seems really caring & compassionate. I can think of at least 4 tragedies that have occurred in NZ this year, & the poor lady looks really thin & stressed, carrying all the weight of govt on her shoulders. Sandra, under the circumstances I hope you are able to enjoy this hol season. Keep safe, & post when you can.
ARACELI, another lovely video, aww thanks sweetie. Thought about you when news of the swimming pool tragedy on Xmas eve came through. I also feel an affinity with the family ’cause they descend from the same country as I do.
DENICE is FELICIA alright we haven’t heard from her in ages?
JUDY A, I left a message for you on Nov 18.
I am still concerned about LYN SANDERSON in Queensland. The beginning of the year there were bad floods in her area, & now for the past couple of months bush fires too! Lets all hope that she & all that’s dear to her are safe & sound. She hasn’t posted since Jan this year.
I still find it hard, & feel that it’s so wrong that DC is not here. Watching your video Araceli, & seeing his smiling , vibrant face. Will the pain ever go away? People that have been close to me, I have lost but I have never felt this bad & upset as I do about DC.
Love you always David. this world seems worse since you left us.
Look after yourself everyone & keep safe. Love to you all.

    • Hi Adeola, I hope you had a great Xmas and that all is well with you. I understand how you feel about the pain of losing David, yes I know what you mean about feeling his loss more than some people close to you, I’ve also experienced this in recent times. No not needing to wear a face mask where I live but the air quality here has been sporadic, some days worse than others and the fires and drought continue, the worst, most widespread and prolonged in my memory. You’ve had some floods in England haven’t you recently? I hope you haven’t been in an area affected by them. Also floods in Spain, I thought of you Araceli, hope they’re not in your area. I thought of David over Xmas, played his 2 Xmas albums and wished him a happy peaceful Xmas in heaven. I wish you and Jane and all fans a very happy New Year. Love Sandra, Sydney, Australia.

    • Awwwwe, what a lovely post Adeola and Sandra!! Yes, we really feel lost without David in our lives. It´s literally a pain that has no end. But in other way, I can feel him so close to me. I think that´s the magic of David, always was and always will. Definetly he was out of this world and he came home. God Bless him ♥

I hope things are better in Australia now. And no, the floods were not in my area, thanks for concerning.

Happy 2020 to all, may it brings just beautiful things. Hugs from Spain ♥

  51. Happy New Year Bruce Cassidy lovers worldwide!
Extra special greetings to those of you not having such & great NY. Including SANDRA & her fellow Australians. I really feel for you Sandra, the news just gets worse & worse! Your relatives in Victoria, how are they? Have they had to evacuate? I’m writing this after 10 at night on Sat, will be after 9 in the morning on Sunday in Sydney. We’ve been told that this weekend for you will be even worse than it has been. Over 20 deaths country wide, & entire towns & villages razed to the ground. It is really shocking & upsetting Sandra, & all this could go on for another 2 months or so! We are thinking of you, keep safe & lots of love to you & yours.
ARACELI, are you alright in Spain regarding the floods? It rained a bit on some days between Xmas & New Year where I live, but luckily we did not flood.
Last night watched this on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUKD3jPX62A The interview was only about 30 mins long, but it summed up everything that David went through. I wish all the doubters & people who are negative about David would watch this one interview, they would then understand the pain he went through during his life. And boy, was he tantalisingly handsome here, 1996 I think it was. David is gorgeous whatever era we see him in. Araceli I remember the youtube link that you shared with us early last year, of him sitting down & looking straight into the camera & reading something, & then strutting his stuff on the stage. Wow his eyelashes, (what woman wouldn’t have wanted natural eyelashes like his!). But for me it was when DC was in Blood Brothers & he had his hair short ( like in this interview with Selina), that he really turns my heart upside down. He looks absolutely stunning!! The last time I ever saw DC at the Apollo Hammersmith in the early 2000’s, he had that same look & I will forever remember that special night with his gorgeous smiling face.
Happy New Year to you David in Heaven with the rest of your family, we all miss you very much, but you are too good for this world.
Love to you David, & to all those that miss you worldwide.

    • Hi Adeola, glad you weren’t affected by the floods in your country. I also hope Araceli wasn’t affected by floods that were in Spain. Yes, the conditions in Australia are unprecedented with the number of fires and length of time we’ve had them on top of the prolonged drought. I pray for everyone who has been affected, luckily there are no fires where I live, some days smoke haze and other days not as bad in my area. My relative in Victoria doesn’t live in an area affected by fire but I have relatives at the moment on Kangaroo Island, SA where there have also been bad bushfires and they still have to navigate their way home. I watched the above interview with David, I think he always hid a lot of his pain whilst continuing to be the genuine, generous person that he was. I’ve always admired him for being so honest, as in this interview. What I would have given to have been able to see him in Blood Brothers and so many other stage performances that he did all excellently. Love to you Adeola and all David’s fans.

  52. Awwwwe, what a lovely post Adeola and Sandra!!

    • Hi Araceli, yes it feels like the pain of David’s loss will always be there but the memories and enduring love that we have for him will last forever, he was so special like no other. I continue to think of him every day. Love to you Sandra, Sydney, Australia.

  53. Hello everyone and Happy New Year! It feels like a long time since I’ve been here. Thanks so much Adeola for remembering me. That was really kind of you. I was ok through the floods, as was my family, but there was an awful lot of flood damage. I have to say that it was the heaviest rain I have ever experienced, and I’ve been through a few monsoons.

The year has gone so fast and there has been some sadness for our family…but of course we aren’t the only ones who’ve had challenges this past year. I wish all of you the very best for 2020. It’s good to hear that you are ok Sandra. I’m in the north of Australia, and we have been thinking of people in the southern states constantly. The weather for us here is strange too as we should be experiencing really humid uncomfortable weather as a precursor to the monsoon, but it has been really dry. I cross my fingers and pray for rain in all the places it is needed. I imagine that if David were alive he would, like other musicians, be wanting to show his support to people who have lost so much. I remember reading that he was really active in bringing the community together after the LA riots. As much as he said he wasn’t special, I think that his kindness and compassion were special and this endeared him to many.

Despite the sadness I have had this year, something exciting happened. I was lucky enough to be chosen to go on a quiz show called “Hard Quiz”, where people compete with each other on their own topic, and also some general knowledge. The person who runs the show is a comedian, and part of the entertainment includes contestants being teased about their special subject. I knew this so prepared in advance to defend myself because I really wanted an audience to hear about David again. I think it turned out ok, and most importantly I got to explain why David Cassidy was important to me. Lovely also to see the Bell collection come out this year, the re-release of C’mon Get Happy (in digital form) with an afterward by Chip DeFaa who wrote it with David.

I was also really happy to see that Sean has started performing more, maybe inspired by the ongoing loyalty of David’s fans. Soooo…..I guess as much as I can I will look forward this year and remember that though David had his trials, he really did have the strength to go forward, despite the great difficulties he faced along the way. So glad that he knew his family and friends loved him before he passed away. In the end that is the most important thing.

Oh..the other thing I wanted to share was that when we organised my Mother’s funeral back in July, my sisters and I sat down to organise the music. I played David’s soulful and wispy “Wish You Were Here”, and they immediately chose it. Others also commented about how beautiful it was. So thank you David for managing to record it – a great gift, considering you were so sick at the time.

Sorry I am going on and on….so nice to be here where people understand each other!

    All the very best,
    Lyn in Ausralia

    • Hi Lyn, lovely to hear from you again, I’m glad that you weren’t affected by the floods in Queensland. Yes, the weather conditions have been extreme in Australia in recent times. I’ve heard about “Hard Quiz” but have never watched it. How long ago were you on it? I would have loved to have seen it especially with David being your special topic on the show. Lovely that you and your family chose David’s “Wish You Were Here” for your mum’s funeral. It has also been a difficult year for me familywise, and I also lost my mother in 2019. Love to you Lyn. Sandra, Sydney, Australia.

    • Nice post, Lyn… good to hear from you and you are doing OK, but sad to kow your Mom passed. Great choise for her funeral, I think it really expreses so much.

How funny you bein on the “Hard Quiz”, I am sure David´s spirit was there so you would answer right about the questions 🙂 🙂

Happy New Year, I hope 2020 be a better one for you ♥

      • Thanks for your good wishes Aracelli. The words of “Wish You Were Here” were really apt…and still are. About Hard Quiz, I couldn’t believe that I knew the answers to the questions…I had done a lot of reading (and watching and listening) and committed a lot to memory, but it was unbelievable. I do wonder if his spirit was helping me…!

    • Lovely to hear from you, Lyn and I’m really sorry your mother has gone.

Well done with your quiz. I think that’s one we could all enjoy!

      • Hi Sian, I’m sorry, I missed replying to your message here. Thanks so much for your kind words. I hope all is well with you.

    • Lyn: Hello from PA. Was trying to watch the show with DC questions.
Video would not proceed. Screen just turned black.

Do you have to establish an account to watch the shows?

      Please advise. Thanks.

      -Mary-

        • Hi Araceli and Mary, about the Hard Quiz episode, try going to You Tube, type in Hard Quiz, Season 4 Episode 19 and click on this on the right. Then on the left there is video ready to play of a guy with a baseball cap with “83” in red on it. This is the episode, click on this. Hope it plays for you. Sandra, Sydney, Australia

          • Hi Sandra, Weronika and Araceli, Am glad you found the show on YouTube, and thanks Sandra and Weronika for sharing how to find it. I realise that you sort of know me visually now…not just through my writing. I hope you think I honoured David which was my intention. I was worried because of the teasing nature of the show..but I was determined to be show that he was respected and accomplished so much.

          • Typing Hard Quiz, Season 4 Episode 19 in the search worked Thanks.

Hats off to Lyn in Australia. I didn’t know some of those answers! You go girl!

  54. Hi Lyn, I watched the Hard Quiz episode that you were on where your special subject was David. Congratulations on winning the cup on that episode, you were fantastic getting every question about David right and some others as well. Did you end up engraving the cup with David’s achievements? Sandra, Sydney, Australia.

    • Hi Sandra, Thanks for your congratulations. It’s funny because part of the show is you are supposed to disrespect the Big Brass Mug, but I decided I wouldn’t. So far it has just been at home. I may not be able to afford to get all of his work engraved, but am now thinking that I could put some wording similar to the memorials that have been created. What do you think?

      • Hi Lyn, yes that would be a great and fitting way to honour David. And I also think that you highlighted the respect and accomplishments that he achieved and kept his memory alive. Also I’m glad Araceli and Mary that you were able to watch the show. Sandra, Sydney, Australia

  55. Hi Lyn, I watched too, it’s on You Tube. You were amazing and so brave..Congratulations on winning..Im so proud of you..it needs a lot of courage to take a part in such popular programme..Also what a great opportunity to tell people about David and show some his pics…You looked gorgeous..Really..that was amazing and thanks for letting us know. Im so happy you are back here, on DC website.
    Weronika, Warsaw, Poland.

    • So lovely to hear you again Weronika. I have to say that I couldn’t have had the inspiration to try to go on the show without all of the conversations shared here. It has been wonderful. Not only that but there was so much I was able to read on the Internet both here due to Jane’s work (and many others) and also elsewhere – for example articles by Chip Deffaa and Craig J. My friends have also been really supportive. One day before the show, we were meeting for dinner and I asked each of them to try to find a question I couldn’t answer. Bless them because they all went off and found interesting bits of info, some of which I knew, and some I didn’t – it was a fun evening. I hope all is well in Polska! All the best, Lyn

  56. Hi LYN in Queensland, just popped onto this site & lo & behold you are back! We were really worried & I’d left several messages for you throughout last year. But we understand now why you were absent. The floods, the fires & the added sadness of losing your mum. Our sincerest condolences to you & your family. Really great to hear that you & yours are safe too, regarding the weather conditions.
If you can Lyn post when you can so that we know you’re alright as Sandra does. I wish I could send our weather to you down under. We have been predicted snow here at the end of January! Keep safe & lots of love. I haven’t even read Gail’s link or watched your quiz yet as I wanted to respond to you first.
Sandra, sorry to hear you lost your mum too last year. May all their lovely souls rest in peace with David, till we meet again. Love to you too & keep safe.
Trying times for everybody as the years go by, but as Lyn said we must find the strength to go forward.
Love to all you Bruce Cassidy lovers worldwide.

    • Thanks for inquiring about me during the year Adeola. It’s quite moving that though our connection is David, and most of us have never met, there is genuine care in your comments and others who are here. I never knew or met David, but from all I’ve read by him and about him, I imagine he would be happy that people support each other and have a genuine interest in each other. Thanks for your offer of cool weather! It would be fabulous! It is 33 degrees C here just now, but fortunately no bushfires. There has also been rain in some areas which is a blessing. Wishing you and all here the best for 2020. Hugs from Lyn

  57. Hi Lyn , I recently viewed you on Hard Quiz , on you tube .I would just like to say I thought you were amazing ,you have a great personality, and the way you answered the questions about David . It takes a lot of courage to do something like this ,David would have been proud of you. well done Lyn .all the best for 2020 hugs claudette

    • Hi Claudette, Thanks so much for your kind words. I was very nervous, but was determined to enjoy the experience and to honour David’s accomplishments. Lovely too that there were some fans in the audience…you would have heard them cheering when David’s name came up. I think it helped me knowing that people who understood where there supporting me and I can’t thank them enough for that.
All the best to you too Claudette. Lyn

      • Hi Araceli , I hope you are keeping well .that is fantastic news .David would be so pleased that Sunshine will have a chance to enjoy his life in his later years ,as we all know David had a strong passion for horses .and as I love animals too , it has made me feel happy too. Take care of yourself hugs xx

  59. A great post weronika .I believe too he really cared about his fans . and great that his fans are remembering him for the talented man he was with these new plaques. and also on the exterior wall of his former home in Fort Lauderdale ,a home he loved so much ,is a bronze plaque .with a photo of David at the three important stages in his life .

  60. I agree with both of you, Weronika and Claudette, David did really care about his fans, the only ones he had problems with were the crazier ones.
It is wonderful how alot of fans have come together for all the tributes etc for David, that is how it should be.

  61. Yes, I agree he cared about his fans. Sometimes life balances out. Maybe David’s loyal fans were his true riches; something he couldn’t lose – no matter what.

  62. To Beau Cassidy, Wishing you a very Happy Birthday. I will always be a fan of your dad. And we the fans have alot of love in our hearts for the Cassidy family. Beau have a wonderful birthday.

  63. Happy Birthday to Beau Cassidy, hope you had a lovely birthday ,we will always be fans of your father David Cassidy.

  64. My best mate’s wife’s funeral today Deborah Kay aged just 60.
Memories of Debbie’s days being a David Cassidy fan at concerts with friends amongst others were told to the mourners, bringing light relief on a very sad day.
Not many could control themselves when Deborah bowed out to the adorable “Cherish”
    RIP, Deborah Kay.

  65. John, a sad day for you with the only bright spot being the reminiscences of Deborah’s memories of being David’s fan and Cherish being played. RIP Deborah. Also today 2 March is the 46th anniversary of David’s Sydney concert that I went to, reminiscing about this. Sandra, Sydney, Australia.

  66. John I’m sending you thoughts and prayers. What a wonderful beautiful ceremony for Deborah Kay. May Deborah be at peace. Deborah being a David Cassidy fan so caring that David’s song of Cherish be played.

  71. Cannot believe that I still miss Dearest David Rock Star Cassidy! Just watched the DVD of his 2002 concert in Glasgow once again–so, so good! The intro medley includes a Led Zeppelin song! The guitar David plays is absolutely stunning! The cut & color of the body is awesome! The neck is so sleek–the most beautiful I’ve seen! A beautiful man with a sexy guitar–see a true Rock Star! I love you, I love you, always I will love you!

    Joanne, PA

  72. I believe its time that the two gentlemen that should be seriously consider to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame because of there impact they made on music in the 70’s are David Cassidy and Barry Manilow. Respectfully, Jimmy Pearl from Bayonne, New Jersey

  73. David Cassidy was a giant in his heyday, no words to describe his great voice & his charisma. Got to see him in Sydney Nov. 2002 & he still had it! He did not sing Echo Valley that nite, but it was still awesome. Just heard Don’t Walk Away Rene, sounds like an Angel…David lives on…

  74. Hi. 💚💙💚💙
