November21st..2017..but also November 21st 1970..on that day 50 years ago ‘I Think I Love You ‘ became nr 1 song on the Billboard chart..The most popular song in the USA ..So we shouldn’t be sad..Let’s play this great Tony Romeo’s song and think about David Cassidy and the joy he brought..Let’s cherish his music..I will..

  3. Hi: I have been asking my local radio stations to play David’s music this coming weekend on remembrance of an exceptional man & entertainer. I have not received any responses but hope they will at least play a few is his songs. I will always love David. 💚💙💚💙

I will also be attending the virtual meet of the David Cassidy Virtual Fan Club on Saturday 21st November to mark the 3rd Anniversary. I regularly ask United DJs Radio, (uniteddj.com), to play David’s music and have requested a track be played today(Friday) and have metioned that it is the 3rd Anniversary, I have requested on the Stuart Busby Feel Good Friday show, 11am -1pm that the play “Damed If This Ain’t Love” as David would not want us to be sad, but enjoy David’s music.

Miss you David, you will always be in my heart.

  5. Hi. I LOVE that song Damned If This Ain’t Love, I know I mentioned before, that YouTube cherish made a video using that song, it’s awesome, such beautiful pictures of David. I am trying not to be sad about his passing but trying to “Cherish” everything about his life, the beautiful music he made, the loving man that he was, and the inspiration he has given me. 6. David’s passed 3 years! (Wow)…..we’re wearing masks…..things so weird in general.

So, let’s commemorate a time when things seemed pretty SIMPLE and easy on Friday night. Watch a show, hear a song and create a happy zone and feel normal in a very “not” normal time. Here, decorations been pulled out last few weeks to create a more uplifting mood both inside and outside the house. Ho, ho, ho!

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to all fellow fans.
    ELECTRONIC HUGS around the world.

  11. I know around this time a lot of us are either up late on the 20th, or up early on the 21st Nov. I myself’s been up since 4 am, couldn’t get back to sleep, thinking of David & all the memories pertaining to him! Rest in Peace sweetheart, we will always be heartbroken, devastated, 3 years,or 30 years after you left this troubled world.
To everyone around the world reading this, what more can one say. What a hard 3 yrs. The 1st year after his passing for me was particularly weird & shocking ’cause I couldn’t believe it or come to terms with it.
We can’t undo the past, but since 2017 the amount of times I’ve asked myself, why did it have to end like this? Why didn’t those close to him help him during the many stages of his life when he was emotionally fragile, especially during his latter years before, it got to bad, etc., etc.! The dear lad. One of my relations who witnessed the seventies with us, on hearing of his death remarked, who would have imagined that his life would pan out like it did! She was not a fan, just observed what he was & saw all the bad press of his latter years. Unlike us true fans who know all the heartache that he went through. Unfortunately a majority of people made a judgement about him from seeing him in his latter years.
Today especially I have been remembering a lot of things. How the UK was brimming with excitement in 1973 in anticipation of DC’S first tour. Newspapers, magazines, media. full of it. DC didn’t dissapoint he just nailed that wonderfull weekend in Wembley, for us that had the privilege to go. Left me a withering wreck though as I’ve cried over DC ever since! We can all see a bit of that legendary weekend from the documentary that’s on YouTube.
Remember in ” The Last Session” the bit were we heard the audio clip of the recording made in the 70’s of him saying “I’m not the boy Wonder”. Well to us he is. I guess at that time he was getting fed up with the restrictions that huge fame inflicted on him, the adoration of his fans, yet the distance of his father whom he really wanted adoration from.
The first & the last time I saw DC in concert, I went both times with friends who were not DC fans, but who really wanted to come with me! In ’73 in the afternoon of my concert I went to Margaret my friend’s house ’cause her parents were driving us to Wembley & having a meal nearby, while we were at the concert. I remember Margaret’s sister who was I think a few years younger than DC at the time looking at us wistfully as we walked out the door, saying, ‘Oh I really like him too’. You could tell that she wished she was going!
Forward to January ’75, on a ship travelling from Middlesborough down the coast past western Europe. A passenger at the dining table talking about DC & dear Bernadette, & my dad saying yes, Adeola was there. Everybody looking at me with surprise!… Yes I was on that ship. It just goes to show that DC was so famous, people who were not even slightly interested in the music of the time knew of him or heard of him. Plus people who are not deemed to be hard core fans like ourselves! So darling DC wherever you are, you are & always will be our ‘Boy Wonder’. There were times that he doubted his many talents, ’cause of his dad & the various times that he was snubbed by many people.
Sleep tenderly dear Angel. This world has been full of trouble since you left us. Although I love you & miss you I’m really glad that you are well out of it!
Hi to everyone one this date that we will forever remember. In the past months have been hearing snippets here & there of news from Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, USA & here in Britain & thought of all of you. It’s not good really but everyone please hang tight.
As we remeber DC especially today special extra greetings to everyone who has lost someone dear to them in the past years. Including those that we know of John D, Sandra , Lyn, Kelly, Barbara, Claudette, Denice & our own Lady Jane web queen. A virtual big hug to everyone of you. Lots of love to you all wherever you may be, & all DC fans.
    Adeola in the UK.

    • Big hug Adeola..great post..so well said..we are remembering him today..fans all over the world

    • Best wishes to you Adeola, you are one true David Cassidy legend fan ( like me Manchester ’74) l hope your memories are rekindled today as mine are with David’s music playing all day.

    • Thanks so much Adeola. You are very thoughtful. So nice to hear of your experiences and your enduring love for David. Take care, Lyn

  12. I always ask God why David had to pass on relatively young, and why like that, then I think it was meant to be that way. God gave us David to love, he created a gorgeous, talented, caring, sweet masterpiece. I am certain David is happy and at peace now and that he knows how much he IS loved. I love you David, love. Love, love you forever. 💙💚💙💚

  13. Love your post Adeola, hugs and best wishes to you and all fans ,as we remember David today .

  14. Hi Sian, thanks, it’s truly a blessing to post with you and share our thoughts on a special person, that came into our lives in the 1970’s. David Cassidy was worldwide. And his talent was that huge to. You to have a nice thanksgiving.

  15. Hi Adeola, you were a lucky girl to see David in concert in the 1970’s, what a memory to have. I had big goals, to someday be able see David perform live. When David returned to theatre, I was awakened to a awesome outstanding performance by David. To hear him sing live on stage, that was another wow. And all the times throughout the years that I got to met David. David was kind and caring. He was the superstar that took time for me. David was always working to the extreme, he wanted to deliver the perfect gift to his fans. I believe he did just that. Now we will forever be celebrating his legacy. Rock n Roll hall of fame needs to get going and put David there. Or do we need a museum just for David. David Cassidy achievements are waiting to be displayed.

  16. That would be awesome, Elvis has Graceland in Memphis, the Beatles have Beatle city in England, David needs his own place, I would Love that!

  17. 18. Did anyone manage to record todays Seabird Radio Show? I went and recorded it (because I was unable to listen to it all) but unfortunately I recorded the microphone instead of the internal mic on the laptop! So it recorded me eating a meal with the TV in the background!! Aaarrgghhh If no-one has recorded it does anyone know of or could post a link on here of the original recording….I am begging you now!
