I Think I Love You Animal Foundation

Breeder and vet Dr. Jerry Bilinski and trainer Gary Contessa, along with their wives Darlene Bilinski and Jennifer Contessa, have founded the I Think I Love You Animal Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit formed to serve the welfare of animals in memory of David Cassidy. The David Cassidy Memorial Legacy Group provided some minor assistance with this project.

The goals is to help animals in need everywhere through the support of Cassidy’s friends and fans. Cassidy was a lifelong animal lover and often donated to animal welfare groups, including those that care for retired Thoroughbreds. A website is in the works, but, in the meantime, those looking to make donations can send a check or money order payable to the I Think I Love You Foundation Inc. to P.O. Box 982, Latham, N.Y.

  1. This is really wonderful, how Jerry ,Gary and their wives have founded this .in David’s memory as he loved all animals ,and such a worthy cause. I shall make a donation in Davids memory and also because I love animals and would love to help them too.

  2. Thank you for this. I know how much David loved animals. I have donated to a retired horse named Sunshine and to Australia for helping animals during that awful fire. Along with others animals causes. So will donate for this lovely idea too. David would be so proud and shinning of happiness up above. I don’t think I love you, my sweetie, I KNOW I love you 💝

  3. How do I join the efforts of this foundation? If it helps animals it’s something I’m very interested in.

  4. i know david loved animals, and this is a great acknowledgement to david, here in the uk i make a monthly donation to the cats protection league, and r.s.p.c.a. we all need to do our bit.

  5. This is a wonderful idea, as we all know David loved all animals. Thank you to Dr Jerry Bilinski, Gary Contessa, and their wives Darlene Bilinski and Jennifer Contessa for founding The I Think I Love You Foundation.

  6. Jerry and Darlene and Gary and Jennifer, wonderful and David Cassidy truly had great friends, to do this is a blessing for all the animals getting help through the I think I love you foundation. When you see pictures of David with his animals you could see the love he had. And the love he had for horses, and all the charity causes he did for the race horses. Truly good news and we all can do our part in helping and getting the word out and about to make this foundation a success for years to come.

  7. Our web Queen Jane & the rest of the team, I hope you & all your families are well, safe, during these trying times. We think of you all.
Bruce Cassidy lovers what can one say? ARACELI it was only several months ago that you were agreeing with my sentiments when I said ‘ WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD!’. Araceli heard on the news yesterday morning about Spain being in lockdown due to C-19. I hope you & yours are all safe & well. Are you able to go about your daily business? We are not far behind you in the UK as on the news this morning again, our prime minister advising us on new measures to take.
It’s only been a couple of months that I’ve been way from here, but shocking what’s been going on around the world affecting many of us!
SANDRA & LYN in Oz, one minute I was watching a tv programme (made by your fellow countrywoman Kylie Morris, who works for our channel4), about the bushfires. The next thing on the news was how you were drenched in floods! How is the weather situation over there now? We have been bombarded with C-19 news so we don’t know how you’re doing. I did hear about three women in Oz somewhere fighting over toilet roll in a supermarket & two of them had been arrested! If not for the seriousness of the situation this could have been comical!
Selfish people have been stockpiling supplies over here too, a man was on the telly with at least a 100 rolls of toilet roll in his house! I thought it would not be bad where I am
as I live in the country away from big cities, but no. I intend to go food shopping before the weekend, (after avoiding the shops for weeks), & hope there will be food to buy!
C-19 emergency all over the world. Denice, Felicia, Richard, Diane (in L A) in the States. We hope you are all OK. New York & L A, both cities close to DC’s heart on lockdown.
I say it again it’s a nightmare what’s been going on, more shootings, hurricanes & flooding in Europe too. We are thinking of you wherever you are.
On a lighter note LYN, I did see your QUIZ well done. The host was a bit of a naughty boy trying to take the mick. You did David & all of us proud.
Please post when you can , so we know you’re alright. Lots of love from the UK.
Our darling boy’s b’day is nearly here. I think the world has got worse since he departed us. Love you loads Dave as always. Adeola.

    • i have been to the local supermarket today where shelves are lying empty, in our city in the uk we have 2 cases, and people are panicking , after leaving the supermarket went to a local small store where the shelves were well stocked and had toilet rolls to, in fact as i walked in the assistant was filling the shelf with toilet rolls, i did have a good chat to to shop assistant at the supermarket and said it should be one pack per costumer, china is seeing less cases, and people at my husband`s place of work who have come back from holidaying abroad have been asked to stay at home for 7 days as a precaution, it is mainly the elderly with underlying health conditions who do not survive the virus, i have been out and about and am perfectly ok, international travel has been one of the causes of the virus spreading. stay well, david you do not know what you are missing, lol

      • Love to you Barbara, it’s really silly how people are panic buying!
To everyone around the world though, look after yourselves & your loved ones very well. LOTS OF LOVE FROM THE UK,. Adeola.

  8. Hi Adeola and Barbara, yes it’s a terrible situation worldwide at the moment. I hope you both and everyone are coping alright with these very difficult circumstances. I have just had to organise a flight home for my daughter who has been holidaying overseas mainly in Europe for the last month or she would have been stuck in a country there. She’s home safe now but has to self isolate for 14 days, it has been a very worrying time. Yes, panic and people stockpiling way beyond what they need, even people travelling to regional areas and stripping their shelves bare. Australians have now been ordered not to travel anywhere overseas indefinitely, and a Level 4 alert. Tasmania has just closed its border. I hope Araceli that you are OK as I’ve heard that Spain is in lockdown. The only good news here is that all the bushfires are out.
Best wishes Adeola, Barbara, Araceli and everyone in this crisis. Hopefully things will return to normal in the not too distant future. Try to stay well.
I well remember watching David on the Logies here in 1974, after that appearance he also holidayed here, I remember seeing a photo of him holding a koala. He also came back the same year to appear on the King of Pop awards. What a wonderful and talented man he was, the most handsome man ever I think. I still miss him terribly. Sandra, Sydney, Australia.

    • thank you sandra and i wish everyone well, all my family are self-isolating putting going out for entertainment on hold, my daughter has cancelled her holiday to the dominique republic as they have closed there borders, in my local town everything is normal no stock piling and the shelves are well stocked you would not think there was a virus, but my local supermarket it is bedlam, they were stopping people going into the store as i was coming out, we have managed to get what we need for the time being i am sure things will return back to normal in a few weeks, we do have a case at my local hospital who is in intensive care and very poorly, i know a nurse who works there she does not think they will make it, this is how bad it is, best regards to everyone, stay well.

  9. This is an amazing idea and one that David would be proud of.
Thank you to everyone involved in this foundation . A truly amazing idea and legacy of love for Davi Cassidy.

  10. Hi, Sandra & Barbara. Glad to hear from you Sandra, but really shocked to hear of the lengths some people are taking, by going out of town & stripping regional stores of their goods!
Barbara, I went food shopping on Thursday to try & get a few bits, but was shocked by what I saw too, ( & this was in a small town! ). One of mine went to Norwich today which is just a small city, & I was told it was even worse. They are even stockpiling pet food! Apparently at one of the supermarkets that I went to yesterday, at 6 a.m. when the store opens the car parks full, & there’s queue’s of people with trolleys ready for the onslaught!
Tomorrow I will phone the customer service of Lidl & find out when they actually re-stock their shelves ( I believe it is in the evening ), if so we’ll go about 7 at night to have a chance of getting something.
Also read online that in the county of Kent, you can’t buy a freezer anywhere! People buying extra freezers to stockpile even more food. The world has gone mad, & there are a lot of selfish people about.
What would David make of all this if he were here? With his sensitivity & his fragility that so deeply affected him in his latter years, I can honestly say that I am glad that he is not here to witness all that is going on. And I love, & miss him deeply, but I’m relieved that he is resting in peace away from this chaos!
In a couple of weeks time when we’ve all been able to sort out our food issues, & we ‘re all on lockdown we’ll be back on here. Also to celebrate our darling’s birthday.
Until then everybody look after yourself & yours. LOVE FROM THE UK, ADEOLA.

    • firstly i do wish david was here, he would probably agree it is madness, firstly ,now this is my advise, ( please yourself if you listen to it) do not panic, i have found smaller shops are well stocked, so look around if there is a problem at the supermarket, my daughter who is a social worker , working at a hospital, has told me today there is a ward now for covid-19 patients which has filled this week, a lot of patients are old and vulnerable, but there is a 28 year old in there, we had a good chat about things, i also mentioned about the climate, high levels of co-2 in london which is affecting people with lung disease and would make covid-19 symptoms even worse, also in england this winter it has been very mild and we have had no snow or frosts which kills germs, the environment is in a terrible state i do what i can and compost, use the recycle bin , we are having to go back to the 90s to clean up today, i am sure david would have had a lot to say on the subject, i enjoy his music still today, but i am sure he would want everyone to be responsible and sensible. stay safe be happy.

  11. To all the fans, and Jane our web master, hoping you are all doing okay during this sad difficult time. To Arcelia, sending prays and quick recovery to Spain. The shelves are empty everywhere. Social distancing is the most important, and each person needs to apply that. Let’s have hope and love for the future. I think of the 1970s , hardworking, yet carefree, and we had David Cassidy, with all his great music. ,that we enjoyed so much over and over. Good time to reflect , as David’s birthday gets closer, let’s pray were near the end of this pandemic. Love to you all, it really helps to read all the posts, and read the love that is there for David Cassidy.

  12. with david`s birthday approaching i will be thinking of him as i do daily, when hearing his songs on my mp3 as i go about my chores, makes me feel happy, as for the virus, our local supermarket has set aside certain times when healthcare workers can go in, and the elderly, and it worked this week, did not seem such a panic, and i got what i needed, was almost like a normal shopping day, my family are self-isolating, and as summer approaches lets hope things improve, i know china is returning to normal after a lockdown, hopefully once they find the vaccine will be incorporated into the flu jab which i receive each year, which has saved my life, david would have quite a lot to say i am sure if he was here with us today, he was such a gorgeous young man, i was so smitten, he is in my heart everyday.

  13. Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and coping with the sort of terrible difficulties people all over the world are facing and that your families and friends are safe….
To lift my spirits I put on the CD of David’s Glasgow concern….and was struck anew by the lyrics of I’ll Meet You Halfway…..a different circumstance but they carry a whole other layer of meaning.

I wanted to share this video on a similar theme – created by a group of people in Australia who were running something called Pub Choir – with the distancing measures they couldn’t do it…so sent out an invitation to the Internet…and this was the result.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HezxInuN1YA

Not sure what else to say…such unforeseen circumstances….except to take care of yourselves…at least we all have the most wonderful collection of uplifting music to listen to and memories of a special caring person who would have been concerned for all of his fans.

Just want to thank you too Adeola for your kind words about the quiz show.

    Cheers, from Lyn

  14. Hi everyone… I am fine (thank you to all for your concern) but I must admit it’s very scay here. Police is all around. No people on the streets. We can’t go out except to buy groceries and medicines. We have food, at first the supermarkets shelves were almost empty, but now we have everything.
Many people is trying, our hospitals are colapses, our medical personal is exhausted but we will survie. This is our national athem now.

    https://youtu.be/ZchBy1ReFic

    • Hi Araceli,
I’m really glad you are fine. What is happening in your country is heartbreaking and terrifying. I pray that the numbers start going down soon. Your poor health workers must be at their wits end. I pray for them too. This is an enemy that every country will face in some way, but it is really tough in Europe and the US just now. Take good care of yourself Araceli.
      Lyn

    • glad to hear you are fine, i am sure david would feel happy to, things are limited in the uk, but it is in an orderly way, stay safe.

  15. Thank you, you are such lovely friends. I miss David so much but I don’t think I could say now: Wish you were here as he is in a safer place. I can feel him so close to me, though. God Bless him 💝

    P. S.- Hope things improve for everyone and this nightmare gets over very soon.

  16. Hi Lyn, enjoyed the Pub Choir video and couldn’t help thinking how appropriate the lyrics of Close to You apply to David (except for “eyes of blue”). Reflects how we all must have felt and still feel about him. And I agree Araceli David is in a safer place at the moment. Not long now to his 70th birthday. Stay well and safe everyone. Sandra, Sydney, Australia.

  17. Hi everyone, so good to hear from you Lyn, Araceli, Barbara ,Sian Sandra Judy. I would just like to say to Jane (webmaster ) and to all of Davids fans on this website ,please take care of yourselves in this terrible crisis, so very worrying .love Claudette xx

  18. Hi Everyone
It’s been a while since I’ve posted here.
Just want to ask for all, to be as safe as you can.
Please “Stay Home and Stay Safe”.
We are living in scary times. May we all appreciate all the wonderful people in our lives.

  19. hope everyone is well, the self-isolating in the uk is working and the spread of the virus in the uk is slowing down, a dear friend of ours had to self-isolate, who was depressed, he hung himself on friday, his mother found him, people need people.

    • Oh Barbara, that is so very sad and a tragedy for his Mum, family and friends. You are right…we all need people. Take good care of yourself and your circle of people. xx Lyn

  20. So sorry to hear of your dear friend .so very sad .and for his poor mother .none of us have experienced anything on this scale before ,and how to deal with self isolation. people do need people ,we have a Aunt who is 93 and lives alone ,we are always on the phone having a friendly chat ,making sure she is ok .her daughter does her shopping .please everyone look after one another

  21. to everyone who works in the care services and hospital, all over the world a big thank you, you have taken care of us in trying times, and dear david who we sadly lost, always in my heart.

  22. Thank goodness ARACELI, LYN, FELICIA, JUDY A. that you’re all alright. Plus all regular posters, please continue to post when you can so we know you & yours are alright!
Our hearts go out to the Chinese, Italians & Spanish who are having a terrible time, plus other countries where the situation is becoming tenuous.
Barbara really sorry about your friend, staying in isolation for some people on their own is really hard. Please, please look after yourself, & yours. Darling Dave, am I glad you’re in a safer place! Love to everyone Adeola.

  23. Hi, everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that we’re doing fine here in Farmersville, CA. My Mom and I both had a cold not long ago, but we’re over it now. My Mom’s eyesight isn’t what it used to be, and driving into town isn’t something she can do now because of that, so I have been running errands whenever we need things. Sometimes she goes with me, which is nice. I enjoy our mother/daughter trips into town.

I can’t believe how certain items like toilet paper and grocery items like bread are disappearing at such an alarming rate off the grocery store shelves! I guess you have to be at the right place at the right time to buy what you need. I will be so glad when a vaccine is available so this coronavirus pandemic will be over.

David Cassidy’s 70th birthday will be here soon. April 12th is right around the corner. I’m still thinking of him everyday and missing him. And April 26th will be the two year anniversary of my Dad’s death. My Mom and I will be fixing a special dinner of my Dad’s favorite foods at home that day, and will be remembering the good times. It’ll be a great way to honor my Dad’s memory. He was a great guy, and is terribly missed. We think of him everyday.

I hope everybody stays safe and healthy during this difficult time. Every night when I say my prayers, I pray that this pandemic will soon be over and things will get better. Just remember, this too shall pass. God’s got this. He loves us and won’t let us down. Take care everyone, and God bless!

    • So nice to read this post Kelly. Makes me think of my parents who have both passed now. Just hearing how people are coping in different places and the care they are showing to others is positive and inspiring. Hope you and your Mum stay well. Lyn xx

  24. As sad as the situation is; today has been a perfect (UK) day to be stuck in a house with “Dreams are nuthin’ more than wishes”… xxx

  25. Hi to all my lovely friends… Hope you are having a nice Palm Sunday everyone.

Barbara, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. Poor mother, what a nightmare!! Gosh 🙁

Kelly, remembering the good times is the best way to honour our left loved ones. He will be forever in your hearts.

Please, be safe… stay at home.

    Hugs to all from Spain.

    P.S.- I love you David ♥

  26. Thanks Sian, i enjoy being on here with all my friends .its lovely how Davids fans can come together here and find comfort speaking to each other across the globe in this deadly crisis. Kelly remember the good and happy times you had with your father ,memories are of great comfort at these difficult times .I lost my mum to cancer last year ,and I am always remembering the things we used to do together ,things we used to laugh at .that way I feel she is still here .please stay safe my friends and keep posting on here ,David would love that we are all together at this time love claudette xx

  27. Darling Bruce in 5 days time we’ll be celebrating your 70th b’day on Easter Sunday. Things have been really hard for us here in this world since you’ve been gone. I remember all of us on this site at the end of 2018, wishing each other well for a better 2019 ( as we all were so upset with remembering you on your first b’day away from us! ). The same for the end of 2019, everyone wishing & hoping for a better 2020. But what’s been happening since is unreal!
Jane & the team , Isabel Irwin, Kelly in CA, Judy A, Araceli, Denice, Claudette, Barbara. Everyone who’s reading this wherever you are love to you all & keep yourself & your loved ones safe.
I am rather upset today. Yesterday morning hearing the news that BJ had been taken to hospital, & later hearing that he is in intensive care! He is a human being, he’s a family member. Of course we don’t know him personally, but as our leader wouldn’t have wished this on him ever. Watching the news on Sky last night, all the debates, arguments etc., heard that people on social media have been leaving nasty messages about him. Haven’t people learned anything, (remember poor Caroline Flack ). That is the bad side of the net, people anonymously posting negative comments about everything & anything that doesn’t concern them! Wish & pray that he’ll be alright. His family, his anguished pregnant, fiancée. I suppose this brings back heart-breaking memories for many of DC’S fans when they learned that David had been taken to hospital. At that crucial time I had given myself a news blackout , so by the time I heard that David had been taken to hospital , he had unfortunately passed away. I have thought of him everyday since!
There have been millions of C-19 deaths & illnesses worldwide, thinking now that I know a little how their families, friends etc. must be feeling. I pray that BJ will be alright his health is more important. But I agree with you Araceli it is very scary. I think I should
give myself another news blackout , ’cause everything is so depressing , but you have to stay informed about what is going on.
Have to stop now as on a lighter note, my little cat Levi is climbing on my lap & rubbing his head on the screen, he’s hungry bless him. ( Ha, ha ). I’ll try to come back later today. Be safe everyone, love Adeola.

  28. i know david loved the beach and lying in the sun, well today my husband and i sat outside our door and enjoyed the sun and fresh air, even started my tan, i feel very good tonight, instead of being cooped up in the flat all day, and feel as though i can not breath, my husband turned 63 today, still going strong, i know david`s birthday is coming up, i will think of him, which i do anyway when i listen to his songs, look after yourselves.

  29. Bruce Cassidy lovers, how are you all doing?
I want to say a big thank you to all the workers worldwide, who work in hospitals, care homes & the like. From the cleaners to the managers, to the surgeons, you are doing your jobs, but putting yourselves at risk by looking after those of us in need! I think Sian Steed or Sheila Owens one of our regular posters works for our NHS, correct me if I am wrong. Thank you whichever one of you it is. A week or so ago, news that in Italy they had lost 40+ doctors that had contracted C-19. In the UK too, we have lost a number also & some nurses, unfortunately those numbers will rise as time goes on worldwide. It’s shocking to learn that even the protective masks are not produced in Europe, let alone proper protective coverings for medical staff. We’re being told now it is wise to wear masks when we’re outside, but where on earth do we get them! In London, quite a number of bus workers have died, because they have not been protected. It’s all an absolute nightmare. Barbara, we were wrongly told at the beginning that only the elderly & those with underlying health conds would be susceptible!
On a lighter note Barbara, wish your husband a Happy Birthday from all of us for yesterday.
LYN, thanks for sharing the pub choir video, made me cry. Who doesn’t love The Carpenters, & their version with Karen’s beautiful voice is one of my favourite songs ever. Another talented genius taken too soon, who sadly also had her troubles in her life. It was so nice to know that Richard saw this video too, & was happy that his musical arrangement had been used. Aahh the Carpenters, great memories of the 70’s. I remember a couple of years ago watching a documentary about them (which I suppose one can find on YouTube ), & there was a segment at an award ceremony, where David & Shirley where on stage , & David announced the Carpenters as the winners. This doc must have aired after David had passed, as I remember being wonderfully surprised, but also tinged with sadness at seeing David looking gorgeous in his 70’s heyday!
Sandra & Lyn, I think it must be Autumn in Oz , what’s the weather like over there for you now. For the past three weekends people have been told off & moved on by the police in various places for sunbathing in parks & beaches. It is difficult for people who are stuck in flats with no private garden, or outside space of their own.
Araceli, your ‘resistire’ new national anthem video was really nice. The images in the video were very descriptive of what is going on in the world right now. So us none Spanish speakers could really see what the song was all about. Was the video & song posted by Jennifer Lopez the American actress & singer, or by someone else with the same name?
Kelly, how unfortunate that you are going through the hardship concerning grocery shopping that we have been through. Selfish people stockpiling stuff that they don’t need to! Things are a bit back to normal here. The bigger stores are making people queue outside & letting a limited number of people in at a time. They should have done this months ago, rather than letting scores of people in at the same time & letting them strip the shelves by 7am in the morning!
Denice how are you? Can you tell us how Felicia is?
Judy A , if you can try & post . You & Claudette seem to be the nearest to me. It’s reassuring to know that you’re just round the corner.
To all DC’S fans wherever you are, if you’ve never posted before please do when you have the time. We’d like to get to know your thoughts on DC, & how your coping with life in lockdown. We are all in this together, supporting each other & friendship is greatly appreciated.
Take care of yourselves, your loved ones & friends. Be safe. Adeola.
Happy Birthday in advance, beloved David. Never ever forgotten.

  30. I’m glad to read your post Arcelia, thanks for letting us fans know your are fine. Hug to you and your posts always have so much love to us fans, and so much love for David. Hi Sian, love your uplifting posts , your special. And hi Adeola, just read your post, you are so nice and caring to everyone. Easter will soon be here. No matter where we are in the world, every David Cassidy fan will take a moment to remember David on April 12,2020.

  31. Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for your posts, inspiring, heartwarming, sad or scary. Things are ok where I am…I am lucky in that there is a lot of outdoor space where I live, but I really haven’t seen my family and friends for a while. We stay in touch by phone. I have one friend that I exercise with, and I can take a walk each afternoon. It is coming in to Autumn, which isn’t so bad in the tropics, but am concerned about the cold that is coming in the southern states. Health departments are advising everyone to get their flu vaccinations as they are worried about people getting C19 on top of a flu………….

Whenever I pop in here, I feel like I’ve come in to a lovely warm room. I imagine you all writing on your computer or device and try to think of what your lives are like. We are drawn together because of our admiration of a kind and talented man, and helped to keep talking because of the continuing work of Jane (our webmaster). I like to think that he would be saying encouraging things to us if he could, but then I think about what could have happened to him with failing health if he was still here……

I pray that you and your family and friends remain healthy…and send special thoughts to those of you in countries harder hit…..

Take good care everyone. Lyn xx

  32. Just received my copy of Cherish book .I am so pleased with it .Lots of great photos and fans around the world writing about their meeting with David .and what it’s like to be a DC fan .it is well worth the money .a must have for every DC fan .I have plenty to read in the lockdown now .

  33. Just received my copy of Cherish book .I am very pleased with it .so many great photos and fans around the world writing of their meeting with David and what’s it’s like being a DC fan .it is well worth the money ,a must have for every DC fan .I have plenty to read in the lockdown now.

  34. Hi everyone, it’s Autumn and still plenty of people in my area out and about doing their shopping and just walking for exercise, whilst practising social distancing. Supermarkets now only allowing a certain number of people to enter and others have to wait, still not able to get toilet paper, and a few other products are also hard to find. Hardly anyone wearing masks. Public transport still running, all but two states have closed their borders, with strict exceptions. My daughter is now out of self-isolation, have kept in touch with others by phone. I hope we all stay healthy and look forward to happier times when the restrictions in our lives and virus situation are finally over. Had ordered the Cherish book but looks like delivery will be delayed due to the virus, not sure when it will be coming. Sandra, Sydney, Australia

  35. Hi everyone i hope you are all keeping safe and well.I just wanted to remind you The last session is on BBC 4 tonight at 10.00pm in uk. for anyone that has not watched it.At this scary time my heart goes out to all of you around the world. So many countries with very high death rates, it is heartbreaking. Here in N.Ireland the peak has not hit us yet.I am staying at home with my husband.Miss not visiting my family especially my 3 grandsons but we facetime each other on the phone.I love reading all your posts all of you are very caring people. Will be playing Davids music all day on Sunday on his 70th birthday.Still missed but never forgotten. Love to all of you. Isabel Irwin.

  36. thank you isabel for letting us know about the last sessions hope you are well and all david`s fans and families, i am fine been out enjoying the sunshine and getting some vitamin d for the bones, it is true does do you good, and normally people are encouraged to enjoy the summertime with the better air quality, watching the bbc panorama, they did have 2 people on who had underlying health conditions as the show was about the virus, in fact one person had bowel cancer and had only a limited time left and he had a 4 year old son which is so sad when they are young, i am sure david is watching from heaven above, as i listen to summerdays on my mp3 lying on my sunlounger what nicer place to be.

  37. “Signs that said no friends allowed”.

    Who’d have guessed?

A beautiful sunny David Cassidy weekend has started…

  44. WHY DID BIRDS SING HAPPILY IN THE AIR
    EVERYTIME YOU WERE NEAR…….
JUST LIKE ME THEY LONGED TO BE CLOSE TO YOU.
ON THE DAY THAT YOU WERE BORN
THE ANGELS GOT TOGETHER & DECIDED TO CREATE A DREAM COME TRUE
SO THEY SPRINKLED MOON DUST IN YOUR HAIR
& GOLDEN STARLIGHT IN YOUR GORGEOUS EYES.
Happy Birthday dearest Dave, trying not to be downhearted today as the weather forecast for where I am is predicted to be very hot later on. I know it’ll be you shining down on me.
LYN, ever since you showed us the pub choir, I have been playing the Carpenters version around the house ( loud! ), over & over again. So sad though hearing the voice of one beautiful angel, singing about another. Also Lyn, what a lovely thing to say about being in a warm room with all of us, a great analogy.
ISABEL IRWIN, what’s it like in NI for food shopping & essential items? Thanks for telling us about The Last Session. I did watch it live from the telly on Good Friday, although I recorded it when it first aired on 23rd November 2018, but I had never had the courage to watch it as every body had said how harrowing it was! Now that I have watched it very sobering……
SANDRA, since they showed it again over here on Friday wondered if you could watch it via iPlayer as they leave programmes on for 30 days. I do remember you saying that you had not been able to watch it, if that is still the case…. On your mobile device or computer go to…. bbc.com/account/tv for BBCiPlayer you will have to open up an account etc. but everything is free & you’ll be able to watch loads of BBC stuff. As Isabel said above, the programme aired on BBC 4. Also try to see if you can view it through YouTube. Let us know if you have any luck.
Hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend, under such trying times that we’re all living through.
Continue to rest in peace our Darling Dave, you know how much your fans really miss & adore you. XXXXXXXXX

  46. I believe its time that the two gentlemen that should be seriously consider to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame because of there impact they made on music in the 70’s are David Cassidy and Barry Manilow. Respectfully, Jimmy Pearl from Bayonne, New Jersey
