David discussed his new CD. Nine songs are original. The album is out August 11th.
David also discussed his upcoming tour with the Beach Boys. The first time David had toured with anyone and the first time he had performed at a festival. He has a put a new band together with an R&B feel, which is the direction of the record.
David talked about the effect of the Partridge Family, his fame and why he had to move away from it. He wanted to be taken as a serious actor and his musical tastes were very different. The Rolling Stone article was also discussed. It was a good marketing idea to take Americas idol that represented such innocence and represent him in that way. The article was written and then the photos a week or so later.
