One day when I was doing my daily checking on DC.com for new concerts, I noticed that this particular show had popped up.(I go to any concerts in driving range for me. This was an 8 hour drive.) I quickly called the casino and ordered my 2 tickets. Got 3rd row center seats for my girlfriend and myself. This was the 5th time of seeing DC and my friend's first. The next day after I ordered the tickets, I emailed the manager of the public relations in the casino. I told her I was driving 8 hours to see DC and stay at her casno overnight. I asked her if I might be able to get a poster or some left over advertising from the show...

A few days later she emailed me and said she would have a poster for me to pick up before the show. When we got to the casino hotel that friday, we checked in and I went straight to get my tickets picked up. Then I went to the box office and asked for the person who emailed me about the poster. She was glad I came and commented on the PF shirt I had made. I told her I was there to pick up the poster. She had a surprise for me... she said she had the poster taken back to DC and he was going to sign it and I could pick it up after the show. WOW!! I was in 7th heaven... to get a real DC autograph. That made my day.

The concert was scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. We entered the concert at 7:30 and got our awesome 3rd row seats. The crowd was piling in, most all ladies of course. Some had records or t-shirts or other things with DC or PF items with them. Some had homemade signs. When it was 8:00, all of the fans in the first few rows started to chant DAVID DAVID over and over. The band came out and played the usual intro music. Then the lead backup singer, Lisa Mayer, introduced David. Everyone started to scream and then he appeared. He was wearing a white shirt, and his usual black pants. He looked great. He came out singing "I Can Feel Your Heartbeat". This is his usual opening song. He was really ready to rock. The pelvis thrusts started and he did them throughout the night. The ladies screamed even more everytime he did that. The second song was " Point Me In The Direction Of Alburquerque"

The third song he sang was an un-rehearsed song that he just started to play with the band. I do not know what the name of it was. Some of the words were" They rock me, they rock me all night long, you can rock me baby, rock me all night long" (maybe you can figure it out.) He sang Hush, Echo Valley, new version of Breaking Up Is hard, I"ll Meet You Half Way,Summer Days, No Sunshine, Rock Me Baby,Cherish, I Woke Up In Love. David sang acoustic beatles songs No Reply, Hide Your Love Away and I Think I Love You. He also sang the regular version of I Think I love You. He then bowed and left the stage. He came back for a one song encore with "Cry" then left for the night. After the concert ended, I tried to get something of DC's on the stage. I got the second half of the song list he followed in front of him. During the concert the Ladies kept rushing the stage. I touched him 3 times, another time going up to show him my Partridge Family shirt I was wearing (he nodded at me) and when he was kneeling down in front of me, I ran my hand up and down his leg several times! When we left the stage I went to the box office and got my autographed poster of David. It was the size of a big movie poster, one of those that fit with a light behind it. I also got a big 5 foot posterboard advertising him at the casino with a big picture of him on it. It was a real blast. Watching David entertain the crowd was awesome. He really knows what he is doing and encourages the ladies on. I cannot wait to see him again soon. Thanks David, you are the best!
